DE: If the reboot fits, wear it

Something very weird and miraculous has happened. You have been given a blank check and creative license for the reboot of your pup. Tell us about it.

While I might post back in later if anything occurs to me, I don't think I would change anything substantial so much as polish things. I would start out with the knowledge of backstory which the original creators only thought up later, and make it actually affect him (logically, if an entire city was destroyed and it was ostensibly your father's fault, you're gonna end up with some issues). I would try to show some manner of interaction between Enzo and the other children in Mainframe, however few they might be. And I would probably give him a catchphrase which made a little more sense than "Alphanumeric!"

If I were rebooting all of ReBoot and not just Enzo, I would also tweak the Game concept to be less headache-inducing and actually work somewhat with how we actually play games and not force me to carefully skirt the issues of solitaire, Tetris, and The Sims.

A fourth season story arc that doesn't require most of the cast to be holding the Idiot Ball would also be nice.

Well, yes, of course, but first things (and seasons) first.

Ahsoka: No reboot but I would start a comic series of just what she was up to between the Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Romance would not be a focus, though hints of it could be there as in Clone Wars. She has more important things to do after all. Also, I'd give Barriss a redemption arc.

Asajj: Get rid of the romance with Quin. I kind of like the idea of guys being into her and her using that to her advantage or to the advantage of the mission, but the Asajj I know is aromantic. The ending of Dark Disciple would be changed, leaving Asajj heading for Wild Space or some where else to start her own Nightsister clan.

Rollo: Don't think I would change much aside from having Rollo do more than saving Ragnar's family as his redemption. He'd have to earn it with women too, instead of just the men.

Hank: I would have him accepting his secondary mutation and looking to change the world. I was fine with him having body issues in the first movie, but he didn't seem to have grown in the second one, despite ten years having past. He needs to start working towards the Kelsey Grammer Beast.

Quinlan Vos: He'd be in the background of just about every episode of Clone Wars, sort of a Where's Waldo? and he'd be in a lot more episodes as a main character. Each time he's part of the main story, he'd act a little different, assuming different roles. I'd also be sure to point out his psychometic ability is a racial thing and not a Force skill.

While I generally have no issues at all with Athelstan's arc (although I do wish some parts of it had been clearer about what was going on) the exception is the season 3 affair with [spoilerish female name redacted]. It all seemed rushed to the point of being forced, and I wish it hadn't gone from her panicking at their mutual attraction and running away, straight to them in bed together without a single on-screen interaction in between. There could have been a lovely slow-build courtship there.

They had chemistry in the early scenes, and it got thrown away, so I sulk.

Kirk: Well, I am not a fan of the reboot. But Kirk could use one. But I'd make him a bit more of an explorer and less of a soldier. A younger, bolder Picard as much as Kirk. I might, however, keep the tension with Spock since Spock really should be the captain.

Knox: I'd get him into all the new DC stuff. Send him to Starling City and Central City and Metropolis, a roving reporter trying to get a handle on all the superhero stuff.

Cyborg: He just got a reboot at DC, and another in the current cartoon. Let's leave him alone.

CharlieQuestion: Another guy I would reboot in the DC TV shows. A mix of the conspiracy nut from JLU and the somewhat snarky guy from the comics, an Internet sensation as a quasi-reporter, and also a masked vigilante who hasn't accomplished what the Arrow has. Looks for lots of rivalry.

Do you read Cat Tales? Knox would be a welcome addition to the Gotham Times (not the early setup, but certainly later in the series). I think he'd be incredibly amused by Selina Kyle, socialite and philanthropist.

So far Amascut has been handled well so far, except for the fact that she never acts directly when it matters. But I suppose it is a character trait. She would rather have minions die for her than kill [protaganist] herself. These days there is a strong plot armor excuse but in the past.. oh well... there is more death this way I suppose. Why should Amascut try to kill a murderous bastard like [protaganist]? Sure, [protaganist] annoys her but SO MUCH MURDER.

I am dreading Halloween this year, however. The Halloween Holiday event will feature Amascut and her brother Icthlarin in a contest that so far makes no sense. That may need rebooting/ignoring.

I wouldn't change much else about everyone else, Though I'd've had Juliet stick to her word more when she broke up with Shawn.
