So I know we just got done with AU month, and I thought it was a blast. But finding the right AU for your pup and your style of play is tricky sometimes. Some pups refuse to be put into an alternate setting.

What would you think about having folks comment here with pup lists and letting other people suggest AUs for them?

Valjean as a heavyweight boxer in 1930s France trying to make a comeback out of a prison stint (Hugh Jackman is just out of the light heavyweight range IIRC), Javert as a dispassionate boxing league official who has it out for Valjean.

The rest of the cast - IDK. It's the Great Depression, I imagine there'd be plenty of discontent for them to chew on.

AU where Alanna is a contestant on Tortall's Next Top Model and has to wear dresses and makeup in front of people all the time.

AU where Thayet is president and Buri is her chief of staff. Jonathan is first husband. Numair wants Daine to bring him all the finest muffins and bagels in the land. Alanna accidentally slept with a thief. Repeatedly.

AU where Grace is the Marshall on Mars. Ham has an onus.

AU where Lizzie is the Dread Pirate Roberts (and Will is Buttercup, natch).

AU where Karou has pink hair.

AU where Derek is a Shark but Stiles is the MOST BEAUTIFUL JET HE'S EVER SEEN.

AU where Lana is a mutant turtle.

AU where Doctor Evil owns an Evil coffee shop called Evilbucks where he serves Evil Lattes. If you ask for soy milk, he's definitely using the authentic beef milk. Because he's Evil.

Izana for a Roller Derby AU!

Briareus for a Coffee Shop AU. One-man coffee shop. He wanders the post-apocalypse world, now gone back to Ghibli Hills levels of pastoral beauty, but also separation, sharing news and coffee.

Sam for an AU where he gets his own movie. Like, in-Universe. Also this universe. I want a Falcon movie, is what I'm saying. But I also want to see Sam to be a big star within the MCU because that would be hilarious.

(Seriously, some of the Battleworld titles are straight out of "What If...?".)

An AU with Lady Mary in a planetary romance setting (i.e., Flash Gordon, etc.) might be interesting. Or a Steampunk planetary, a la Space 1889.

Doubt enough people know Tess enough to think of AUs for her, so I'll tell you about the canonical ones she has!

1) Zod's Soldier AU - Tess helps Zod take over the world and is his loyal soldier. She dies quickly.

2) All Luthor All the Time AU - Tess and Clark have been raised by Lionel Luthor. It's a pretty dark world. Again, she dies quickly.

There's a third that would be pretty easy to extrapolate based on given canon, and that would be her being raised by alien forces to be a perfect warrior and help them fight to takeover the world. I suspect she would not die quickly.
