DE: That one story

There's that one story somebody tells over and over, as an explanation for who and what they are, or as the foundation myth or cautionary tale about their deeply held beliefs or principles. For example, I often tell the story of how I scared an overly curious repeat visitor (then-boyfriend of a friend) by leaving a very salacious fanwork in a stack of papers he'd peek into while I was making tea for them, as an example for how to curb a tendency to overstep limits. Everybody gets to hear that one story, sooner or later.

So there we were, my new Master and I, tasked with bringing down a shield generator that was behind enemy lines and all that stood between us was a few battalions of battle droids.

No problem right? My Master, whom I had just met a few hours ago, had a plan! Would you like to know what his brilliant plan was? We hide under a box until the droids and the shield line past us.

I know how it sounds, but it worked.
