So in the theme for the day before Halloween, what scares your pup? I am thinking more spiders or snakes, rather than a life lived alone or the death of the world. Maybe what startles your character might be a better way to phrase it.

Clowns. Flying. Those damned winged monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.

His fiancée, deliberately, on a regular basis. :-P

Fantine isn't scared of little things, actually. Loud noises right behind her might do it, if unexpected.

Brienne is physically grossed out by blood, which doesn't stop her from being lethal.

Combeferre is a 19th century medical student in Paris and doesn't blink at anything most people do, but ducks really squick him out. Yes, ducks, don't ask me why. This is quasi-canon.

Jehan Prouvaire jumps at sudden movements by little animals, like mice. He is also scared of slimy insects.

Enjolras will face gore without flinching or blinking if we're talking battle or a medical emergency or similar -- anything where it's something to be practically dealt with. But stage blood or fake injuries or other kinds of ghoulishness for entertainment value, he's not wild about.

He's also doesn't much like snakes, although he's heard "but they're valuable and misunderstood creatures!!!" from certain friends enough to squelch impulses to act on it. But: ugh, snakes.

(Personally I think snakes are great, but Enjolras gets too much Saint Michael imagery for me to not run with a dislike of serpents.)

Cosette doesn't like dark forests or places similarly full of looming shadows at night, unless it's familiar territory like her own garden.

I dunno about Thor. He probably has some, but he's also probably pretty desensitized by a childhood of Loki making illusion versions of them appear in his boots or whatever.

And I just had a sudden flash of all the times wee Thor walked in to find wee Loki "injured" or "dead" much like how Harold's parents had to deal with him in Harold and Maude. : D

Tess isn't scared of much. Being a zombie was pretty terrifying, though. So was Amanda Waller, but let's be real: who isn't scared of The Wall?

Quentin doesn't like blood or guns and any iron will make him jump.

Moist is scared of werewolves and vampires, they make him nervous.

Tumnus gets very jumpy around wolves.

Ivan hates even the hint of an enclosed dark space with water.

Hm, for the others I'm not thinking as easily of this kind of scare. Also my head is full of congested sinuses.
