DE: Fic Friday

 Cause fic is better than shopping! Since we may not have a lot fo folks about for prompts, let's go with either a random first sentence generator, or a random dialog generator to get started. Or heck, how about a random scenario?

So click one of the above random generators and write whatever fic it inspires. Repeat as desired.

Sort of taken from the random scenario generator, 'you're a ghost looking for a new home in your neighborhood' with a few modifications.

Ibani would say it's like opening your eyes, but she she's reasonably sure she doesn't have those anymore on account of being dead. She looks down at her arm and sees herself glowing blue and rather transparent. "Definitely a force ghost. Not what I expected, but I did have contingency plans in place for this." It's only outlandish and paranoid if you turn out to be WRONG, after all.

Force ghosts are usually bound to the place of their death or other people or items of great importance to them, but it is possible to make anchors to allow one to travel elsewhere. She reaches out to the Force and feels most of the anchors she'd placed during her lifetime pulsing and active, including the one she'd asked Idilan to place in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. "This is going to be FUN," she says, chuckling to herself as she reaches for it.

I love this and can't help thinking of the reputed Sith temple buried beneath the Jedi Temple and the unpublished story that was going to have Ahsoka exploring it.

Oooooh, I had not heard about that! That story sounds very interesting, pity it didn't get published. It might explain why the Jedi decide to set up an enclave in a certain place on Taris too, if there's a tendency to build on Sith ruins.

In my head, ghost Ibani is 'waking up' long after her death, much closer to the Clone Wars era. She would have too much fun harassing Jedi Masters who probably wouldn't know how to get rid of her. >.>

Alas, all we have is one concept sketch and a twitter descrition of the idea. There's a link here, the Sith temple bit is about 2/3rds of the way down with the giant statue head in ruins.

I heard a rumor that Ahsoka's unfinished stories might begetting the print treatment, like Asajj did with Dark Disciple. So, fingers crossed.
