DE: Fic Friday

A great week of DE's! Let's round them out with the classic fic prompts, but with a twist (if it inspires).

1. Tag in to get prompts. Feel free to list the pups you'd like to play with or get blind prompts.
2. Comment to other mun's with prompts
3. Write a fic, as short or long as you'd wish, but maybe write it as an AU, perhaps even the ones from earlier this week. If the AUs don't inspire, that's fine. Just write what works for you.

Sabine didn't know what to think of the tall, lanky man's offer; no one gave away anything valuable for free. Still, he seemed to be telling the truth and the idea of getting back at the Empire was tempting.

[OOC: Spoilers for season 02, but nothing that hasn't been telegraphed since the first season.]

Despite the void of space outside the windows, the large room was humid with the hot springs. Izana watched Nagate continue his charade of checking the mechanical features of the Zero G hot springs and couldn't help getting more and more frustrated by his obliviousness.

"Nagate!" They called out tersely. "Enough of this. Take a bath with me!"

Startled and perhaps a little frightened, Nagate shook his head. "I must complete the evaluation."

"Stop lying to me! Do I mean nothing to you?!?"

Jedi AU

"You are force sensitive and while you are older than we like," the old man said, "I think you can still be of great value to the Temple."

Sabine looked him over, taking in his cybernetic hand and scared face. He seemed trust worthy, even though he was a Jedi.

"You can help and protect more than Mandalore. You can protect the whole galaxy."

So Jedi or Protector? The saber or armor?

She knows it makes them uncomfortable.

She's not blind, after all. Or deaf - honestly, three feet away is not nearly far enough to be reasonably outside range of hearing.

Of course, she acts as if she doesn't know, of course she does - frankly, if she has to explain why the stuff they find is exciting she's pretty sure they're never going to get the idea. It's not worth the effort.

Jemma will never tell them, of course, but her estimation of her fellow denizens at SHIELD drops just a little bit every single time someone fails to appreciate the absolute awesomeness of the things she gets to explore on a daily basis.

I always enjoy this one and have more time today than I expected. I was going to sub then there was a lot of wind and snow, so school had a delay and then closed. I've been being lazy and writing seems like a great way to start the weekend.

Will way eying the rolls on the table and how many he could get into his pockets when a girl said, "They'll be more tomorrow."

He looked over, she sounded American but not like movie American and had hair almost as red as his, "I know that. They're just good."

"I'm Barbara, everyone calls me Babs," She said with a smile as she grabbed a roll.

"Will," Then he snagged two, maybe he didn't have to fill his pockets.

He couldn't feel Erik just a wall that the helmet created. Raven saw his face and frowned but didn't open her mind. Another door was shutting and he focused on his legs, where they should be. That was a lack he could make sense of.

"Sam, there's a proper technique for doing all of this. We've gone over this. If we don't do it the right way then I won't be able to measure what you do," Nick was whining and trying not to copy his uncle's politician voice as he tried to get Sam's attention.

Sam put down the mechanical frog and turned to face Nick, "But by the time you're measuring, I've finished my work."

"Then do your work slower," Nick pulled a chair up and pulled out his notebook.

Sadly there's not that much Sam and Nick, how I write them is hugely influenced by Aspen's brilliant Nick. I mean its there but the focus of Lirael isn't on them.
