Are you missing a friend from the stables?

As part of the rescue effort from the stable fire, a number of animals got loose. A few have chosen to return to what's left of the stables as they listened to the call of what's familiar and some never got free.

Since there are a variety of animals in the stables, this is an opportunity for running across confused horses and also going searching in the forest and ending up in the Enchanted Forest.

William is going to be doing his best to round up loose animals and other people will be helping, but if you'd like something specific to go on with your character's horse, brahmin, other creature, have fun. I'm trying to keep it pretty vague about named animals unless given direction by their owners.

Another aspect of the fire that's going to be in play is that there's an investigation going on into what happened being led by X and at some point, a rebuilding effort probably led by Jean Valjean. William's current EP is open until it scrolls and he's going to be around Milliways a lot as he deals with the fire. Thank you for helping this all happen. Please use this post as one place to organize animal finding options or anything else involved in the aftermath.

Feuilly is dutifully interested in organizing fire safety stuff, although he doesn't actually know much about the subject. Fire drills, so people can be organized--and maybe some way to have a deity or other major magic-user on call. But is this something anyone wants to play with? (...in practical RP terms, this would probably mostly be an excuse to have a big after-fire-drill lunch post every few months, I dunno, Feuilly is just a goober who wants to be a Good Milliways Citizen.)

He also needs to talk to Security--I wasn't sure if there was going to be a thread for that, or I should post something, or do people want to hand-wave that he got in touch with X to explain about the Mysterious Package?

(Also, uh, if anyone actually wants their animals to get eaten or chased, I can offer up some werewolves. But other than that Gredya and her kids won't be bothering anyone.)

If you want an EP for this or other reasons, make one and I will tag? If not, I will post an X EP either today or tomorrow, depending on how braindead I am after work and we can do it there?

Heee, well, this seems to be the week when All The Plots are happening at once--ordinarily I'd totally throw in a Feuilly EP today, but I've got to start off the Quest Plot today, and because of that I have a Hal EP already, and aaaaaaaah SO MUCH PLOT ALL AT ONCE

There's no plot with this that I am planning, really, but I was asked to provide some period of uncertainty, so. No solving it by, like, tomorrow.

Do you need any alternate suspects? I can offer Vyvyan (who does general stupid things), Almanzo (young lad who hangs around stables despite not having his own horse) or Auxin (teenage watchman who could be poking around trying to solve the mystery himself) if any of them are any use?
