 Good morning and welcome to a new week. With apps just around the corner, I thought it might be a good time for profile reviews. So, post in with your pups (old or new) and their journal names. Then we'll go read their profile and comment with praise or any details we feel might be missing or that need clarification.

Height and build information perhaps? Or maybe tips on how he tends to dress, i.e. suits from such and such era, matching gloves (assuming from the default pic). Any props he might habitually carry; a cane or umbrella, hat?

Just trying to think of details that might give an impression of him for those who might not be at all familiar with him.

I like it. Gives enough details of his past to get an idea of his canon and there are details of how he is likely to appear for those unfamiliar with his canon.

I think I will just throw in Eliot Waugh and, since I am thinking of reapping him soon, Tybalt from the Toby Daye series. I can already see that I need to update details about canon points.

I should warn that I found the books are far more depressing and pretentious. I've only read the first, mind you, but my impression of Eliot was much more like Blane (James Spader's character in Pretty In Pink) than the Eliot we get in the TV series.

That being said, I do mean to track down the books as it seems the series is combining books 1 and 2, and in book 2 we get the narrative of what happened to Julia. In the first book, it's all Quentin and told strictly from his POV.

I'm about to run to a meeting and heading home, but I will try and tag in at least once tonight. I think it might be good to fade quickly too since I don't seem to have thread brain lately. I would like future threads though! =D

Aah I really love all your profiles! They do a great job of setting up where and *when* in canon your character's from, along with the relevant modifications to the characters for rp'ing in Milliways (like Clint's hearing aids and pre-A2 status).

I'm in the middle of job apps and suffering from a chest infection so won't be reviewing mine any time soon, but I would love to see people putting their contact details, or at very least the name they're known by, on the profile of non-secret pups. Which for some reason seems to have gone out of fashion over recent years.

I know it's a personal choice, and I totally respect that, but I've had my AIM on all my profiles for over a decade and apart from those occasional bots that used to go around back in the noughties, I have never been targeted by spam or random weirdos. And I like you guys, and it's nice to know who I'm talking to without having to trail through the cast list.
