Quentin: Lost
Charles: Hopeful reunions

Straight streets

Quentin knows his way around San Francisco, he did and he could find his way around any knowe given enough time. But somehow he was lost in a suburb where everything looked the same. Katie had lived in an area like this in a plain house that always smelled of toast.

This wasn't the time to think of her, he was out here to help with a case and that meant finding an address and who lived there before the last bus. It would be so much easier if the house numbers were in plain sight but it was some sort of weird game to hide them.

A beginning

Charles hadn't meant to fall asleep but the class with Scott and Jean had been long and his back had been hurting. They both listened and cared in a way that would change the world if they didn't lose track of themselves. He listened to the balance of the minds as his study door opened and Raven entered, "You look tired. This is why you need me. You're doing too much."

There was laughter in her voice and she walked forward as he said quietly, "You came back?"

"You need someone to look after you," She looked happy, he didn't go in or else she might leave and she ruffled his hair like they were children again. They weren't, they hadn't been for a while but he was better when she was around.
