Seimei's usual morning routine begins with waking up at dawn (not by the clock - by the sun) and involves washing, exercising, and meditating before breakfast. His breakfast is generally light and invariably includes 1) tea and 2) reading the paper. Then he'll go off on his appointments for the day.

So all in all, it's an unhurried (if not exactly leisurely) morning routine.

On most mornings in her own world, Rae is up by 4am - she gets dressed, makes a quick breakfast and is at the bakery to start the cinnamon rolls by 4:30. On her days off, she has been known to sleep until noon, then make lunch and go back to bed to read and lounge around for another hour or so before actually starting the day.

In Milliways, Rae's sleep schedule is a little less all-or-nothing. She gets up a little before dawn and goes for a run around the lake before getting a shower, breakfasting and starting her day.

Tegid wakes before dawn. He washes up if he can't find a place to bathe, then he heads to the king's hall for breakfast, that usually is cooked by the women of the village and brought to the hall. It isn't much, usually just some water and oat cakes maybe with honey. Then he tends to his duties as Penderwydd.
