Sunday Indulgences

It's Sunday again, Milliways, and you know what that means...

Tell us about your week in roleplay, Millifolken! Got a plot you're working on? Finished a slowtime? Read a thread that was just awesome? EP'd a new character? Tell us about it!

Bwhahaha, excellent gif choice.

This week, Jim teamed up with Sameth to test some tech, for surprisingly non-malevolent purposes. Some threads still ongoing, but all were/are fun! So far, he loves Yrael a bit, wants to kill Karkat and steal his toys, is enjoying Sameth hating Hannibal and is VERY OFFENDED that Tess doesn't trust his intentions. Heartbroken on that one, he is.

Karkat makes everything more awesome. Jim's internal reaction to him was hilarious.

He really does. I was so happy he tagged. :D

All those threads are amazing. Its fascinating to see how well they work together even though their motivations and approaches to the world are hugely different.

They really do! It's odd from his perspective, but I think it's because Sameth's helpful and doesn't ask awkward questions. Definitely things he values in colleagues!

Sam does a lot of work on his own and he spent a lot of his life having his work being seen as weird. So finding someone who gets it makes him happy and Jim respects what he can do. I think Tess is wrapped and now they're working, he's planning on ignoring Hannibal who seemed to talk without listening.

Just wrapped up a crazy long kidplot thread between tiny!Emcee and not-as-tiny!Eric in which they look at maps in the library, argue over cultural differences, talk about sex (the way 10-year-olds with unconventional upbringings would), and ending with the Viking boy trying to teach the scrawny little city boy how to fight.

Eric: Sometimes they lick each other all over. Like cats and dogs. All over.
Hansel: Why would they do that? Are they covered in food?

This was my favorite exchange. Or at least one of them.

I killed off Doctor Evil!

But I am especially proud of this comment, because sticking in almost every evil gloating subtrope on the linked TV Tropes page was HARD, y'all. *cackles*

And then Alex followed it up with a comment that reads like Fraction's scripts and made my day. BEST.

Seriously, though: thanks to everyone who helped with this. Especially Cam, who was very patient with our slowest of slowtimes. <3

Yes! Thanks for letting us randomly interrupt your threads, you know, 84 years ago when we started this whole thing.

I cannot imagine a more, um, noble death for our friend in one shade of gray. XD

No problemo. Glad to have been a part of it!

Izana has more canon. They also seem to be taking all my writing spoons and not giving them back until I work through the next bit of canon OOMs.
