So with Cubefall coming, and the IMDB Flui soon after, what are some ideas folks are having for there charies? Or if you're stumped, post in with whom you'd like to play and see if folks have suggestions.

I'm running so low on IMDB Flu ideas for my fleet (Though the idea of Dixie as Lily Van Der Woodsen is amusing).

For IMDb, I'm torn between making Jim King Louis XI from The Hollow Crown (because lol, him and crowns). Or - more likely - Gethin from Pride, because he's the ultimate cinnamon roll, and I love that movie so hard it hurts.

I think Javert will probably have the pleasure of becoming Jackson Healy, because lol. Although I should probably see the movie first. :\

For Cubefall - if the lego subplot comes off, there has to be Lego Batman. Like, how could there not be?

Shephard regularly gets, and picks, the option of being an Alternian troll at Cubefall. I may do that again; he's pretty comfortable with it. IMDB flu gets interesting for him because he's a silent protagonist. I've had him hallucinate being a lot of other silent protagonists once, but mostly as soon as he finds out the flu is going around he claps his gas mask on and refuses to take it off until it's over. Someone's got to be the voice of sanity, after all.

Ellen doesn't usually get stuck with IMDB flu. I don't know what I'm likely to do at Cubefall, except that I know she gets offered Genghis Khan (as depicted in the movie Mongol) as one of her choices every time.

I hugely enjoyed Bossuet's time as Captain Picard. Maybe it would be fun to bring the captain back? But there are so many options there...

For the IMDB flu, I'm thinking Izana may think they're a cute fox spirit, though it's tempting to use their English voice actress and have them being a Macross pilot instead. TBH, the fox spirit is winning for now as I've fallen in love with Tokyo Ravens.

For Cubefall, I think Sam is going to have to be Airazor.

I'll have to think of someone for the Lego plot, assuming it happens. Having Izana be a Lego logicoma is tempting, though they were a logicoma last Cubefall.

For IMDB Flu: At the moment, my plans are for Yamato to think he's King Louis XVI (from his 01 Japanese VA's dubbing work on that one Kirsten Dunst film about Marie Antoinette), while Gabumon thinks he's Red Son continuity Batman (from his English VA's work on Superman: Red Son).

I'd love to do something for Hawke, as well, but apart from Kian Alvane from Dreamfall Chapters, I don't know any of his roles.


For Cubefall: I have literally no idea. Um.

Alas, I think I have to pass on IMDb Flu season. In Curtis's case, it'd lead to too much bad with Dejah; in Alistair's, his voice actor's resume is very Working Actor/Hey It's That Guy!; in Gaeta's...well, every year I threaten to turn him into Remy LeBeau thanks to Alessandro Juliani's stint voicing Gambit in X-Men: Evolution, but once again I'm gonna chicken out.

As for Cubefall: Gaeta, as usual, goes LOL NOPE at the idea and hides in his room for three days. Curtis has had his fill of transformations after the bodyswap plot -- though I've considered bringing back Joanna for a bit. I just don't know if having to part with her after three days might do more harm than good. And Alistair? Yeah, there might be some fun to be had there. He could be a mabari! Or a mage! -- wait no I'm not that awful. OR AM I.

I don't know what, if anything, Seimei would be for IMDB flu. His PB (Mansai Nomura) has been in some other Japanese movies, but I'm not sure I could get a subtitled version of any of them.

For Cubefall, Seimei might be a European dragon. He can shape-shift but that's one form he's never taken before, and he might find it interesting.

Apparently, if you go back far enough, to X's first appearance, i.e. X-Men:Evolution, you could have her think she's Pinkie Pie from MLP. Although, could X even get sick with the IMDB flu?

I will most likely have Emcee arrive for the last day of Cubefall to be a flapper chick again. I just...really enjoy him being a flapper chick.

As for IMDb flu, I'm leaning heavily toward Goldeneye's Boris Grishenko, although I will have to give the movie another viewing.

I wish I could do Alan Cumming's Shakespeare characters (Hamlet, Saturninus, Macbeth, Sebastian from The Tempest) but I have no head for Shakespearean dialogue.

IMDB Flu I enjoy as a plot but don't usually do, in part because I often play control freaks who'd be unhappy about that level of non-sconsensual personality/memory alteration, and in part because I live under a rock and usually haven't seen the other stuff my characters' PBs are in. This year, we'll see!

Enjolras wouldn't be wild about it, but he's had more time to adjust to Milliways weirdness now, and Aaron Tveit was just in Grease as Danny Zuko. For Thor, I think the Huntsman from Snow White and the Huntsman is the only other role of Chris Hemsworth's I've seen, at least until next year when the new Ghostbusters is out. (Which: mwahahaha for the future, I'm just saying.) Cosette has plenty of options, since Amanda Seyfried's been in a lot of stuff, but I don't want to freak out her loved ones too much. And Kazul has no PB or voice actor, really.

Cubefall I don't have any genius inspiration for at the moment! I'll probably do something with someone, but I welcome suggestions in the meantime.

I love these various plots and at this point don't have too many clear ideas. Some of my pups aren't getting hit with it like Charles as it would mess with him, Cubefall slightly messes with him at that.

In terms of the others, I'm thinking about doing Ivan though I only know his PB as playing the villain on the first season of Agents of SHIELD. I need to look into his other roles.

William can be interesting but most of Logan Lerman's most recent roles have been kind of serious and I haven't seen them. For Cubefall, he'll probably be a horse as he loves doing that.

Jane's another one who has possibilities with the kinds of roles that Anne Hathaway takes on.

Quentin is one I'd love to hit with IMDB stuff but his PB's a model which limits his options. On the other hand, I think he's going to try being a cat for Cubefall.

Sameth's never been hit by IMDB flu, though there are possibilities for him. His PB Will Young was in Bedlam and his PB is a pop singer. I could figure something out.

Demeter tends to be the not sick one as having her hit with IMDB flu is chancy but there are interesting roles for her. Its Spring so she'd be in Kate Winslet mode.

James McAvoy as always bring so many options and Will's been hit with many of them. Tumnus would be incredibly uncomfortable with the flu though he might get Cubefall choices.

Then Moist prevents tons of chances as Jude Law has been in everything, I'd need to pick one. I still have the icons from him being Watson and he hasn't done that in a while. With Jim and Sherlock around, that could be awful fun.

Omg, Moist as Watson would be killer fun! I'm turning Jim into someone, but could definitely time it so they meet before he gets sick, if you decide to go with him. \o/

I'm laaaaaate! But Cubefall and/or IMDB Flu suggestions for Sariel Rager? Toying with having her think she's Julie from The Pretender ep 'Under The Reds' again, but that might be too much for me depending on state of mind. Cubefall possibilities - jacquot, some sort of Cybertronian plane-shifter, egret, ocelot, kitty cat again? Hmm. The option of a male or nonbinary version of herself might show up, but I strongly doubt she'd pick either of those.

ETA re: Cubefall: Dragon! :D European mythological, eastern, one of the many elseworld variations--hmm.

Possible plot idea: Anakin Solo (whose PB is Haley Joel Osment) can only speak to dead characters (with certain flexibility) during IMDB flu.

One time I returned Steve to factory settings for Cubefall. I think I'd like to do that again.

IMDB Flu...well, I still want Steve to become Lincoln Lee from Scott Pilgrim vs the World sometime. Maybe this year?

Furiosa could become Aeon Flux, but I've never seen the movie and barely remember the cartoons except for thinking they didn't make much sense. OH SHE COULD BE THE EVIL QUEEN FROM SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN. OH MY. That may happen.

Something that could be interesting, there was that time comic book Steve was a werewolf. I don't know that MCU Steve would chose this, but it could be something to keep in your back pocket as it were.
