Just wanted to drop a note. I have been incredibly MIA over the past (more than a) few months however now that life has cleared up, all of my muns are available to RP with again! This affects at least 8 pups including the this one. I need to catch up on a couple of episodes on some of my canons but I am here for plotting purposes should you need me.

Fitz is one of three MCU characters I have in my arsenal. The other two being Peggy (which I need to figure some things out about) and Star-Lord! There are also 5 other non-MCU characters of various universe.

BTW Don... I'm in the middle of The Magician King and seriously pondering a character. May I ask where you brought Eliot in and if he's more book rather than TV series?

Very cool! I am thinking my Eliot is based on the TV show* simply because the books aren't that accessible for me. Lev has created a wonderful canon that I love, but his writing style doesn't do a lot for me. I'd be willing to work with it though, if you prefer. Eliot is mostly allusions to canon with no OOMs, anyway...at least so far. =]

*Although I am assuming some time magic is involved on Brakebills grounds as a 3 year course doesn't make as much sense for Eliot being an upperclassmen to me.

The show's timeline is a lot more heavily compressed in the TV show rather than the books. Years go by at Brakebills before they even make it to Fillory. There are also a lot of differences for Alice's character. However, I'm totally cool with both versions. I may or may not have won a press kit straight from Syfy and have a personalized acceptance letter from Brakebills hanging on my wall.

Very cool and I am not jealous, really. I have read the first book, though it was a while ago, and finished the first season of the show. My thinking of the time magic is exactly with how compressed the show is compared to the book(s). I mean the visit to Brakebills South didn't happen until the third year, if I remember right. I could accept second year but not in the first. Break the kids in a bit first, right?

I think the thing I like most about the TV show is not relying on Quentin for the narration. I do like the character but being in his head is depressing!

BTW: I am busy today, so would it be alright to tag Fitz tomorrow?

Totally okay to tag Fitz tomorrow as long as you're okay with slowtime. I have my physical training tomorrow evening so I don't get home until at least 6pm.

Also in the books, yes there is time magic. The seasons pass a *lot* more slowly at Brakebills than it does in the real world.
