Okay, as of this post, in addition to the organic tech T Minus hand units, Dave Strider has started a competing business giving away iShades which run Pesterchum in a heads-up display.

Pesterchum is fully transparent with Trollian/T Minus, but doesn't have the transtimeline properties that Karkat took out anyway. The iShades are NOT organic tech and probably need to be charged occasionally? But Dave never charges them on panel, so they are pretty long-lived. Might be latent time magic. Since they are clearly hands-free, you have to dictate to them.

This might be an option for people who don't trust organic tech, or just want a cooler-looking or hands-free alternative. The iShades are alchemized from an iPhone 3G and some classic Aviator shades that might have once touched Ben Stiller's weird, kind of gaunt face at one time. 

I've added information to the instructions about Pesterchum but they're very very similar. You pester people instead of trolling them, and your friends appear on a much friendlier chumroll instead of chumproll. I will continue maintaining a single directory for both. 

If you already have T Minus and choose to get iShades, your username and contacts will port over. Karkat will call you a traitor, though.

I thiiiiink Sariel will be getting a Pesterchum thingie. She's firmly in the 'organic tech is extremely creepy' camp, but an inorganic option is another story. She'll probably end up boggled by the novel interface for a bit, though heh.
