DE: Planes, wagons, or 7 league boots

How does your pup prefer to travel, when they have the option? Quickest means available or at a more leisurely pace, e.g. via airplane vs. taking a road trip?

Are there unique means of transportation they have available?

Yamato rides Garurumon to get places quite a lot, although generally not if he has passengers, since large parts of Garurumon's body are made up of razor-sharp blades, and I literally have no idea how Yamato hasn't ended up just cutting his legs to shreds yet. Likewise, Gabumon quite often rides Yamato to get places -- not as much as some of the other partners, like Patamon (who seems to have a permanent perch atop Takeru's head), but a fair amount.

Hawke waaalks, I guess? It's never made clear exactly how Hawke and company get around the greater Kirkwall area, so I guess they could be riding if they're going out to Sundermount or something, but just walking seems way more likely.

Sherral rides chocobos, like all members of the Archadian military, although he has a particular fondness for airship travel, as well. There are mentions in monster descriptions of attempts in Nabudis to domesticate horses, but considering every horse you meet in Ivalice is a murderous monster that seems to be both insectoid and reptilian, I'm guessing that ended in failure.

Shephard is, to his perennial astonishment, captain of a teleporting nuclear-powered icebreaker with an onboard deranged but well-meaning AI. This is an efficient way of going places that have enough water to allow for the sudden arrival of a ship with a ten-meter draft and around 122 meters of length. Other transportation needs are met by his motorcycle, an old Buell that has been worked over by Dejah Thoris to such a degree that it now runs on a radium drive and moves at three-digit speeds. He is also capable of flying the occasional helicopter, but he is not good at it and throws up every time he touches back down after flying one (his radio call sign is 'Carrots' in commemoration of this fact), and he has on two or three occasions borrowed the Black Lion of Voltron from the Milliways basement. The Lion is the only flying vehicle he has ever liked.

Ellen mostly walks. She has also broken a two-headed post-nuclear cow to the saddle and rather likes riding. There are some air vehicles available to the Brotherhood of Steel but she doesn't have access to them, so oh well.

Santo has the Santomobile, which is the fans' unofficial name for his silver convertible.

Clint has no real preference for traveling between countries (airplanes, probably, but he wouldn't turn down a boat), but within (or between close countries) he loves cars. He has more control over a car than he does, say, a train but he also has more carrying capacity and comfort than with a motorcycle. When he was younger, he was ALL ABOUT motorcycles, but damn it he's old and likes heating.

Chuck prefers to travel by Jaeger, thanks. (He finds helicopters faintly comforting, commercial planes intensely uncomfortable, and cars and boats are only good if they're actually practical. Right now, he mostly travels by bicycle and golf cart, but he lives in the garage so...)

Melinda May prefers to travel by a plane she is piloting! Or a car she is piloting driving. Or, if necessary, a body she is piloting walking.

Legolas prefers to travel by foot, but he's cool with horses.

Darcy really is not a fan of traveling, but she has to do it a lot, so she prefers any method that gets her to her destination safely with minimum required socialization and maximum swiftness. She walks when she can, and drives otherwise -- and finds driving okay.

John Connor prefers motorcycles, but doesn't have one right now. >| some day he will have a driver's license!

Personally, I love driving and I love flying but I hate airports. So I'm on the driving side of things. (I don't much like being the passenger, barring a few exceptions [my dad, my best friend] -- I've been in too many car accidents while being the passenger to ever really relax.)

Skateboard. Magnetic harpoon. Not-necessarily-willing vehicle operators traveling at high speeds. 'Nuff said.
