DE: Try, and try again

What is the greatest failure in your character's life? What did they do as a consequence?

Ahsoka: The Battle of Ryloth. She was commanding a wing of fighters and continued attacking even though she was ordered to retreat. She lost all but two of her people. Since then she's learned some restraint when other lives are under her command and responsibility.

Rollo: Well, there was that time he turned his back on Ragnar and his people to align with Jarl Borg for the chance of a little fame and social standing. He quickly discovered this was a horrible idea, although he'd already killed one dear friend and nearly killed another. (Sorry Floki!)

Afterward he was ready for death and resined to Hel. Ragnar showed mercy, which at first Rollo hated and tried to drink himself into death. He got better and proved to Ragnar that his mercy was worth while when he saved his brother's family from Jarl Borg's take over of Kattegat.
