Since I am trapped at a garage sale, what does, or would, your pup think of garage sales?  Would they find a treasure or would other people's stuff not be worth noticing? What kind of stuff would they be selling if they ran it? Or what kind of stuff would catch their attention?

And now I am imagining a Milliways fleemarket and cackling.

YT has picked up a couple of interesting things at flea markets and such.

Abe no Seimei will actually use divination to find garage sales or the equivalent near him where he can purchase an object that is (unbeknownst to the seller) some kind of powerful amulet.

Of mine, I think Quentin's the only one who would know about them and I can imagine him being taken by May or Toby and being so confused. Then actually liking them.

Yessss we need a Milliways fleamarket, lol.

Emcee would love fleamarket shopping and selling. He would pick through every dusty box in case he'd miss something he totally didn't need but wanted anyway. Books, trinkets, decorative and useless things. Actually this gives me the idea that he should have a moving sale. He has lots of vintage stuff (vintage is relative of course) to get rid of before he moves to modern Berlin. The money he'd raise will go to his struggling neighbors.

Pam would not be caught dead (ha) around a garage sale.

I think Floki would enjoy it! Especially furniture that he could refurbish or repurpose. He's such a hipster.

I think it would be fun and interesting to see what kind of stuff people bring from their own worlds. I imagine 'what is that??' will get asked a lot.

I agree, this would be amazing to do. I could see it starting in a sort of casual way or something, like a sign saying have stuff to get rid of, bring it here. Arguments about prices and moments of ooh and ugh.

I was trying to think if I have any characters that wouldn't like a yard sale, and then I remembered Gredya. She's not a fan.
