Luckily, I am distracted by the news coming out of this weekend's Sherlock con. As I type, Benjamin Cucumberpatch is driving the fandom insane with S4 teasers. For God's sake, why is it not January already?

I also want to pimp Sinric and Sherlock, because they are adorable, and while Jim might be side-eyeing Sinric like hell, I am so happy there's someone who can help Sherlock out when his boyfriend's been a massive douche. <333

I got new canon for Yamato in the form of Chapter 3 of Digimon Tri being released (with five whole episodes boy wowee Toei you are -- you are just spoiling us, you are). Pros: The kids finally go to the Digital World! Cons: Terrible, terrible tragedy.

Chapter four isn't until late February, but will apparently be focused on Yamato, Sora, and Taichi, so that should be fun.

Not much is going to top Wilford and Jim playing psychopath chicken (while wanting to stab one another in the neck to make things more interesting), and then Vyvyan accidentally giving the game away. We didn't even plan that. It just happened, and it was perfect.

I brought Pino in and am having fun! Although it is a challenge to write her as lacking a soul but still being friendly as she is programmed to be. She's managed to creep out Wilford, is playing a memory card game with Coral, and getting the Milliways lowdown from Ellen.

I've also posted two OOMs, one precanon and one canon. Now she is meeting a magic talking fox and a batch of sentient drones.

Once I've had my coffee, I hope to tag in; assuming RL plays nice with my schedule.

I had an interview for a new job! And might have another one in the next week or two, if I'm lucky! And if I'm really lucky, I'll have a new job by mid-October! (Not to, y'know, get too far ahead of myself or anything.)

...though apparently the adrenaline in the lead-up to that interview was the only thing keeping me upright lately, because as soon as it was over, I crashed hard and pretty much stayed under a blanket for 90% of the week's non-work hours. So I don't have much RP stuff to share with the class. Next week, hopefully! In the meantime, I'ma go finish watching Stranger Things.

Jay-mun and I finally finished Emcee's trip to modern day Berlin (*high fives Munnin*) after starting it pretty much on a whim back in March. Lots of Real Life got in the way, but even so, it turned out to be a sprawling monster of a thread that was just as enjoyable to play out as it was long. Let me tell you, Emcee does not do anything half-assed when it comes to having fun, okay. You take him to a party, he will damn well fucking party.

Emcee also risked one tiny interaction with Jim and it ESCALATED QUICKLY so he removed himself just as fast >_>

I haven't done a huge amount in RP, except for a Rae-Childermass thread that's ongoing and fun. But! My manager has acknowledged the huge amount of work I do and is making attempts to get my job re-banded. No less work, but at least I'd be paid better.

Tess and Jim got engaged and then he made her a widow. Oh, she also had some fun with younger!Jim. If that was this week. I can't remember days anymore.

I need Tess to get going with plot but it would still be nice to get her meeting new people. But I suck in that regard. I'm also actively trying to get some more canon folks in for her to have.
