Hopefully this won't be too grim. What would your pup like on their headstone? I'm thinking anything here; an inspirational quote, a map, a fudge recipe, or even a wifi hotspot and charging station. Whatever makes sense for your pup.
Bonus question, how is the spot used 50 years after their death?
ETA: Also, I'm just going to accept my fate and take a week hiatus from Mililways. RL and work are being too demanding. I will keep up with the DE's and try to tag into my existing threads, but nothing else.

... seriously, Ellen is firmly convinced that she's going to die alone in the wasteland somewhere and her only hope for a burial is that some wanderer has enough sympathy for a stranger to scatter some dirt over whatever's left of her remains by the time the scavengers are done. There's a reason she lays her enemies' corpses straight and prays over them. She's hoping it'll count towards the funeral she doubts she'll ever have.

Sabine: A simple block of stone that is shaped like her helmet and with a bas relief of her starbird. If you are clever enough, you will discover there is a data file, heavily encrypted within as well. The file is her own personal Anarchist Cookbook.
Amelia: She is immortal and will not be getting a tombstone, thank you ver much. (Secretly, she hopes her best Frenemy Svena will craft a tombstone for her as in Amelia's mind, she's the only one who could possibly kill her. And it should read, "To a worthy foe, Amelia Heartstriker.")
More later as they occur to me.

Even in death, he'll want to have the last word on that one.

Auf Wiedersehen
À Bientôt
Fifty years later the gravesite is covered with glitter.
Pam:
Still more fabulous than you.
She wouldn't have an actual corpse left, but if Eric wanted to do something symbolic and bury her pink coffin or something. But she would explicitly tell Eric to not keep her goo in an urn like Russell Edgington because that's gross. And insane. Eric, don't go insane.
Floki:
He built the ships
That sailed to the West
He loved the gods
Above all the rest
Now here he lies
His fate is done
To glory and honor
To Valhalla he comes.
He wouldn't be buried (though his father was). It could still be inscribed on something to be burned with him on his funeral pyre.

That you are here—that life exists and identity,
That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.
Canonically, Sherlock's just says his name.
Furiosa, I think, would like something about a traveling finding their way home.

And the sailor, home from the sea
And I can't remember the rest of it, but I think Furiosa would like it.

...or, you know, whatever his dad or whoever thinks best. He's not particularly fussed, as long as it's not something he actively disagrees with (which my version of his father definitely wouldn't do). He'd be sort of :-/ if it was something blandly non-political, though; he wouldn't be deeply annoyed, but that is, uh, not him.
I was going to cackle and go looking for the answer of how the real-life corner where Hugo stuck his not-quite-historically-accurate barricade was being used in 1882, but then I realized you meant the headstone spot, in which case I have no idea! I mean, either it's a forgotten anonymous headstone or it's Here Lies A Minor But Inspirational Martyred Patriot, and either one is fine with him.
I'm not immediately sure about any of the others!

Actually, given canon, that won't be a statue, that will be her actual, petrified corpse. Still, she would hope someone would have the decency to smash it to pieces. And forever more she shall be a dangerous stumbling block. Unfortunately she still has family that cares about her and would care about the integrity of her "tombstone".

Also he doesn't have a headstone so much as a shrine.

It's on the list of reasons why he's still angry with Bruce.

Have you been reading the reboot of Detective Comics? Kate's leading Tim, Stephanie, Cassandra, and Clayface as a team with Bruce's blessing and it is glorious.

That issue of Bombshells was so sad. =(

I still think of re-apping her from time to time, especially now that Rebirth is here and she seems to have better writers. (Still grumpy about what they did with Maggie and Nocturna.)
