 How do your charries celebrate their birthdays? Do they acknowledge them at all? Maybe namedays instead? Or do they not even know when they were born, or how old they are?

Jay doesn't really celebrate his birthday. Unless the bar forces him too. He use to "celebrate" his death day. Usually by getting really drunk and doing something stupid but he hasn't for the last couple of years. Call it the Bar's good influence on him.

Sinric doesn't know his birthday. He does celebrate the day he was sold to the palace and presented to Constantine but he does so privately, quietly, and in his own way.

Tess has two birthdays: the one on her adoption papers and the one on her birth certificate. She's not really used to celebrating, but the JL tends to so they throw her a tiny, little party on both which generally consists of Clark speeding a cupcake into her office so she doesn't get mad at them. She hasn't decided which one she's keeping, yet.

I don't think the Star Wars verse celebrates birthdays? I could be wrong. Either way, Kylo wouldn't care (or would try not to).

YT has little celebrations with people in her different social circles - a nice dinner with mom and possibly other members of her family, some kind of thing with her Kourier friends (involving many jokes and gag gifts, no doubt), and something with her pod Hiro, probably in the Metaverse.

Abe no Seimei comes from a culture that did not really celebrate birthdays. They counted your age by how many New Years you lived through. Bar is really the only entity that observes his actual birthday. There is however a big yearly festival (matsuri) in his honor on the date of the autumnal equinox that kinda counts as his birthday.

I have been wondering this recently, as Jim's birthday is coming up. I mean, normally I think he wouldn't do anything because...well, it's not like he has any friends. Also, birthdays mean nothing and are stupid.

On the other hand, Sherlock said he'd make him a birthday cake and he's pretty happy about that because, hilarious, so...idk. Happy to celebrate with cake and champagne?

Oh he has friends, of sorts. I am sure that Hannibal and Yrael will share a little celebratory something, some nice repast that is actually more sophisticated than common champagne. Ancient Spanish brandy with jamon iberico, perhaps?

Fun fact: I recently found out that the show creators actually made it 5th April, though that's never been on the show, just on his arrest records for memorabilia purposes. Why 5th April? Anniversary of the original Reichenbach Fall. They made his birthday the same as his ACD death day. *pulls face at Moftiss*

I'm keeping it as the 21st because it's his PBs birthday, and also because at least one interpretation of the show's timeline has this version of the fall in late October/early November. Idk, hard dates are not a speciality of this creation but they don't need to be, so whatevs.

Phew. Tess' is in early November. Chaos averted. This is her actual canon birthday. I had picked in January for her before the show gave her a specific date but she canonically has two so it all works out.

Emcee has no idea when he was born, and neither does anyone else. He would estimate that his birth year is around 1900, give or take a couple of years. I'd say from 1900-1905, so he'd be 30-35 years old. Naturally he doesn't celebrate a birthday, but kind of just slips it in on New Year's Eve if he remembers to, as there's usually enough of a drunken party to accommodate it.

DIXIE: Hates being reminded she's getting older but will never turn down sweets. Would prefer to spend it relaxing at home, preferably with Brisco.

JULIET: Doing something active! Anything from a hike to a big party.

EPONINE: Having fun. Which may mean anything, when it comes to her.

PINKIE: The biggest most awesome, most righteous party that's ever happened. Everpony having fun is her idea of a great time!
