I always found it hard to see Jim with any kind of pet. Then Andrew Scott was asked this question at a recent con, and he went, 'maybe a snake. ...or a giraffe.'
So now I'm a fully paid-up member of the 'Jim has a pet giraffe' headcanon.
He must do. Probably not in England. I am endlessly amused by the notion of him occasionally getting into his private jet, and flying off to visit the giraffe.
Like, can you even pet a giraffe? He'd probably just look at it for ten minutes, chuckle at its likeness to Mycroft, and then go away again.
YT likes dogs. She kinda sorta had a rescued pit bull a couple years back (yes, this is canonical), but he got stolen. Now, in Millicanon, she has a recently acquired standard poodle puppy named Stella.
Abe no Seimei has a nekomata as one of his spirit servants. He sort of regards her as a pet, and she, for her part, seems perfectly willing to play the role.
Wilford wouldn't so much have a pet, as much as I think he'd be more likely to have a stray adopt him. There's probably some mangy dog that hangs around, which he made the mistake of "feeding" one time. aka, he got angry that it was there and threw half a doughnut at it. Now it won't go away.

I think he would call it Mycroft.

And Holtzmann is going to adopt the hell out of that ghost kitten.
Though it will be difficult to train it to not leave protoplasm-hairballs on Erin's bed.
