DE: Look back on Halloween

What was the whackiest an/or most fun thing you did this year for Halloween -- either in RP or IRL?


I, for example, never play computer games at all, neither 'real' not casual, but totally got addicted to the cute cats of the Google Doodle game, and managed to win three times. The fourth level was really hard, the final boss comparatively harmless...

I got sick from eating the candy we didn't hand out, since not a single kid came to our door. I didn't even have a lot. Like, one twizzlers and a few whoppers.

Next year I'm gonna do what my friend proposed. I'm gonna be the house that hands out king size bars. Because it's not like I'll be handing them out anyway.


I was supposed to have a party at my place on Saturday, but literally everybody invited was sick. Since my husband works in a retirement home, I had to tell everyone to just cancel, since he can't go to work if he's sick. So pretty much my entire weekend through yesterday was spent getting to level 10 on Tuber Simulator. I'm trying to work up to getting the pink moustache by this coming weekend.

RP: Holtzmann introduced Emcee to Jell-O shots and MC Hammer at the Halloween party. I suppose Emcee's modern friends have been too polite to tell him about MC Hammer.

IRL: Threw together a costume of Eleven from Stranger Things to take a selfie, just so I could say I did something for Halloween. My hair is still short enough for it, and I didn't have black makeup to smear across my forehead to be Furiosa.

I made Tess dress up in something she'd never choose for herself.

Myself? I did nothing. There weren't even any scary movies on TV. :/

I work for a genealogy website, so we do a big Day of the Dead celebration in addition to Halloween. We decorate with sugar skulls and post pictures of deceased relatives, and this year we did a chili cookoff with cornbread and jack o'lantern carving, too. My workplace does holidays full tilt.
