How's your characters' business sense? Could they run a small business of their own? A galactic franchise? ...Or should someone else be the one keeping the books?

(I thiiiink DW is working again...)

Emcee couldn't run a business without other people to take care of the finances and inner workings. He's okay with being the face of it or directing his artistic vision of it, but his input would be mostly creative.

Pam does know how to run a business. She was the madam of a brothel when she was human, and ran a video rental store with Eric in the '80s and '90s. And of course there's the nightclub now. She can handle accounting just fine, but she really doesn't want to. She makes business decisions that Eric often listens to, and she knows good ideas when she hears them. And then she steals them by glamouring you and taking credit for them.

Floki runs his own boat building and carpentry business well enough. I imagine he has Helga managing the money and apprentices helping out.

Tess runs three businesses: Luthorcorp, a multi-national Corporation, Mercer Media Group, on the small side, and the Daily Planet, national newspaper.

I'd say she's got this in the bag.

Wilford kind of runs a business, in the sense that it's his show. He fobs all the stuff he doesn't want to onto everyone else, though.

Yeah, he'd be fine. He runs a criminal empire through (at least) Europe, he's got a handle on business.

Eriond is pretty n/a as he is with many answers, but if he ran a business, it would be that tiny magic shop which sells things at improbably low prices and is always there when its needed and vanishes when not. Mind, being Eriond, 'need' might be 'let's have hot chocolate everyone needs hot chocolate' but still.

Evelyn is not a business-y person. At all. That's what she has Josie for.

Lois could survive running a business if she had to. She'd want someone else doing the math, though.

Anakin/R2: Anakin absolutely could not run a business. Best case scenario, he ends up a front for Artoo. Artoo, sadly, could probably not run a business without a front, if only to be communications. More likely someone pisses Anakin off and then everything ends up on fire. Artoo could if people would pay attention, but let's face it, they don't, and Anakin? Could not run anything. Ever.

Tavi has economics training, and knows how to listen to people more versed in it--but economics isn't actually business sense. He would need to pick up some skills on the fly, but quite frankly, if he wanted to run a business, he would be very good at it. He was a logistics officer for a (short) while, so he probably learned some of those skills then. Thing is, he has never wanted to run a business of any kind. He has more interest in archaeology, or ancient or foreign languages, or weapons design--or creating a multicultural empire out of the ashes of the one he just inherited.
