Sneaky Ninja Attack Mistletoe™
Tonight (EST), when Eros enters the bar, he will be pleased to notice the presence of mistletoe. However, he will become upset upon noticing how his fellow patrons are, in general, treating it - i.e. avoiding it, cursing its name, giving it ugly looks, etc. After a short conversation with the sprig (they speak the shared language of lurrrve) Eros will decide to give the mistletoe Sneaky Ninja Powers™.
Basically, the original mistletoe will hang in the same place. However, if it notices anyone actively avoiding it, or generally being mean, it will duplicate itself. The duplicate will then, with Sneaky Ninja Skill™, move until it hangs above that patron's head. It will do so in such a way that it never actually seems to move - if you're looking at it, it will hang perfectly still, looking innocent. But once you look away...
The only time the magic mistletoe will actively react is when someone tries to pull it down. In that case it will dodge, ninja-style, pulling just out of reach. It, however, is easily destroyed by, say, magic fire or something along those lines. If you do burn up or otherwise pulverize a Sneaky Ninja Mistletoe Sprig™, the others will stay the heck away from you.
If you wish to be stalked by mistletoe, please sign up here, or contact me sometime tonight on AIM (rajrr101). Really, I won't have you stalked unless you ask, but you can feel free to write your own character followed (especially after today, or if I'm not online at the time.)
ETA: Since people have been bringing it up, this will take place around 10PM EST. That's in about 6 hours from... now.

The scary thing is, I am tempted to go for this with some of my characters.

Wait a sec! So this stuff could potentially reproduce itself like rabbits, couldn't it?
Re: effing BRILLIANT
You are officially sign'd! Or would be if I was keeping an official list.

However, poor LaCroix gets very little kissing.
He would like to keep it this way.
His -mun, on the other hand... is evil. And therfore decrees that for the time being he should be stalked by mistletoe.
If that's alright with Eros.

I guess, in comparison, Val would have to be stalked by Mistletoe Within Tent.
*cough*

Bob - currently sitting directly under it - or, as directly as possible as he's on the bar and can't get any closer - but, he can pretend to avoid it to get a sprig directly above him on purpose! ;)
Martouf - doens't know what it is, nor would he avoid it once he did
Connor - wouldn't quite park himself under, but wouldn't object to being near it either
Van Helsing - well, he's leaving tonight - so, unless magic mistletoe can follow him home, no go.
Bob: *plots*

A) Doesn't know what it is and
B) Would object with extreme prejudice and destructive magics.

Although Ford doesn't have a particularly sound knowledge of Earthling botanical customs, this is the first time he's had access to alcohol, party-age and attractive fellow life-forms in quite some time. He'd probably welcome some mistletoe action.

Anyone else having trouble containing their mirth?
