DE: Missing You
I have been wondering recently why there are absolutely no characters from'Hamilton', THE popular canon during jour, in the bar yet, not even minor ones like The Bullet.
What other canons have you been missing, and what characters would you most like to see?

Also, I was wondering if we'd get an influx of Doctor Strange pups this month or next, and hoping so. Mainly because I want the temptation of the Doc taken away from me. :/

Which, come to think of it, makes me miss writing Ned something fierce.

Unless you just confined them strictly to the stage-world version, in which case it doesn't matter so much? But I don't think I'd be comfortable doing that, so I pretty quickly decided against happing anyone.

Most anyone from Inuyasha would be nice too.

All that said, of recent canons I would like to see in the Bar that aren't, I would say iZombie and Elementary. We really need to have a battle of Sherlocks, and of Watsons, and of Moriarities. And iZombie would really fit in here.
Also, we need more post-Rebirth DC characters. By which I mean Damien Wayne.

Oh and speaking of Pixar, I've always wanted to play Randall Boggs from Monsters, Inc.

Gene Hunt's kind of an example of this. Take away his homophobia, and you have a more palatable character, but that character isn't Gene Hunt. We're a relatively small group, and we mostly all know each other here, but there have been a few characters in the past I've considered apping, until I had a moment of, "Wellll, not everyone's seen the canon, and this could go poorly." So I didn't app.

I find it fascinating who works in Milliways and sometimes a character who works here doesn't work elsewhere. I've played Will in games run by former Milliways' players and it didn't really click. I haven't played in enough other games to know what it is that makes a character perfect for Milliways and not for others or who lasts and doesn't.
Fantasy or an openness about strange in the world in an IC seems to be helpful and a canon with some stretch space. HBO shows tend to be fairly tightly plotted.

MisSpelled: Accidental witches for the win.
RWBY: Grimm fairytales with a kick, a punch, and a blast.
Dragonriders of Pern
Robotech
Gunnerkrigg Court
Girl Genius
Sorcery 101

I'd welcome any ASOIAF or GoT canonmates, but alas, there are none.

Actually, that's something the bar really seems to be lacking right now in general, is the non-human sort of characters. I remember Diego, and Virgil, and a few other weirdos wandering about, but they never seem to last long. We've got Swamp Thing and Hank McCoy now, but I can't think of anyone else. From a meta standpoint, this pandimensional bar is all rather samey in terms of the worlds and people who get brought in. (Which makes sense also, since the vast majority of canons out there will mirror reality.) But I'm missing some of the more outlandish creeps and weirdos that one would expect in a place like this.

And Porco Rosso just popped in my head and I am laughing. ETA: Oh, and Tall SPin pups! I think there's even a reboot coming next year.

Problems: Marc's back story includes breaking out of a fan created simulation by staging a crossover event, and teaming up with characters including Captain Kirk and Kim Possible to win his way to freedom. (Ryk Spoor made this up, not me folks!)
Also Marc's from the future and at one point in the most recent book mentions that he's not worried about gambling since he's won a game of poker against Dave Strider among other characters. So.
Just having him come to the Bar is a recipe for a bad, bad situation.
Also, I have no brains to brain with.
I'm also listening to a lot of Dragnet at the moment. *Bum-da-bum-bum!*

I would love to see someone from the worlds of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. Also more characters from Seanan McGuire's books, Incryptid is full of monsters and ass kicking people.
Its tricky to say who would be good to have because many of my favorites characters to play off tend to be from canons that I'd never heard of until I interacted with them.
Leverage, anyone from Leverage.
