IN CHARACTER SEKRIT SANTA!!!

Sorry this is a bit late, but...

Here is the thread in which to post your in-character secret santa gifts.

That being said, here are some basic guidelines:

1) Post anonymously, describing where, how, and when the recipient would find their gift, as well as what it is. The subject of your post should be the recipient.

2) Check regularly to see if your gift has been posted.

Easy, right? Yes! Now have at it!

Snow White...

Your gift will be under the tree. You can find it any time you like. It is a handkerchief embroidered with your initials. I do hope you like it.

There is also a portrait, done with careful pencil and colored neatly with pastel, of the whole family. The card attached to the little parcel reads: Two: Snow White. The handwriting is painstaking, like a child trying to write neatly.

Nick, dearest

Present under tree, wrapped up quite messily. Quality leather coat, smooth and thick and generally nice. The note says Since you cut up your last one for cookie bags.

Your gift is under the tree - a frilly pillow with "Loki, Angel of Milliways" embroidered around the edge. There is a note, in a careful script, pinned to it: "What do you give an Angel for Christmas?"

Anthy

(Anonymous) 2004-12-17 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Your gift is also under the tree. It's a hardback cookbook; according to the table of contents, there are sections for curries and baked goods, but upon turning to the appropriate pages, you will find that those sections have been neatly removed. With the cookbook is also a pair of canvas gardening gloves, with Anthy embroidered on the cuff of each glove in purple thread.

Your gift will be found under the tree at some point in the next week. The present is elegantly wrapped, but not flashy. Inside it is a black, dragon-leather knife sheath with sculptured silver trim. At first glance, you might think it won't fit your knife, but inside the box, there is a note on parchment that reads:

Cleeve Brothers Ritual Knives and Metalworks has provided the Wizarding world with the finest selection of cutlery and metal instruments since 919 AD. This dragon-leather sheath is charmed to be the perfect fit for any blade which is thrust inside it. It is durable, water proof, and the perfect complement to a fine blade.

Ingress

(Anonymous) 2004-12-17 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
Underneath the christmas tree Ingress will find a large package wrapped in silver-white paper and inside is a very nice, very expensive Art supply set. Brushes, crayons, markers, charcoal, paint, the works.

Ryoga Hibiki

(Anonymous) 2004-12-17 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
If Ryoga cares to look beneath the tree, there will be a small, neatly wrapped package containing an oriental tea set, with a note attached, stating, simply:

I do apologise for not being thorough. Life has an annoying tendency to get in the way.

Enjoy.

Martouf

It's a pretty little sheer gold bag, tied up in red ribbon.

Inside are a number of pretty little shiny bullets. They all say 'Win .30.-30.' on them. Come to think of it, they're not really that little, are they?

What a thoughtful gift.

Your present is wrapped and sitting under the tree with a tag on it indicating your name.

Opening it, you find a detailed black and white drawing of you and Joe sitting at the bar. Your faces are turned towards one another and you are laughing at something he says. Around you are sketches of your friends and the bar.

Van Helsing

(Anonymous) 2004-12-17 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Under the tree, you will find a bottle of high-quality brandy with a bow tied around the neck. After careful consultation and bribing of the wait-rats, it is guranteed not to leave you with a hangover.

Bob the Skull

(Anonymous) 2004-12-17 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Under the tree, in a red-wrapped box with your name tagged on, is a pair of Groucho Marx glasses. You know, the kind that give you a charming fake nose and moustache. They're all the rage.

The note reads, "For when you want to look dashing."

There are bits of ribbon attached to each earpiece because, well, you don't have ears.

For Tom Riddle

(Anonymous) 2004-12-17 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Two small packages beneath the Christmas tree are carefully labeled "Tom Riddle". One is in a soft blue silk cloth, the other in a soft green. The blue packaging hides a bottle of 1976 Chassagne-Montachet, the "King of White Wines" and the green is a bottle of 1980 Cotes du Rhone Syrah, a fruity red.

There is a card, crisp white pasteboard with a gold border. Written on the card in the same neat lettering is the message "No one dislikes good wine."

Beside the painting into the House of Arch is a box, wrapped in plain white paper. "To be given to Tom Riddle" is written across the top in neat block lettering.

Inside the box is a set of six crystal wine glasses. They are pale blue, with green tinted vines running along the stem. A note inside the box states that they are merely "To help with your enjoyment".

NATALIE!

(Anonymous) 2004-12-18 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
Natalie will find her gift sittin on top of the bar, on one of the corners with a tag hanging on it. It's wrapped in paper with red and white bows, but looks expensive. On the tag it reads, "Hope this will help on the job! Good luck!" Inside the box you will find a brand new bone saw made with a stainless steel blades. ACtualy, it's ALL stainless steel. It had six different blades of varying widths. It is the most expensive one out there, so hope you enjoy! And thanks for playing!

(Anonymous) 2004-12-18 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Left under the tree near the trunk is tissue-lined box holding a carefully folded twin-sized afghan that was crochetted from a yarn variegated with every color of the rainbow. Carefully hidden in the folds of the afghan is a black leather-bound journal with a small brass plate on the cover engraved "Darien Fawkes". The medium-sized box is wrapped in colorful Looney Tunes paper with a narrow ribbon and a hand-written tag that says only "TO: Darien Fawkes" in neat script.

Your gift is under the tree, in shiny purple paper, with a gold cloth bow, and a tag with your name scrawled on it.

Inside is a silver hair ornament in the shape of entwined lilies. At least, it looks like silver. It's not quite as heavy, though, and isn't cold to the touch. And the color isn't quite right. There's more warmth to it.

Whatever it is, it is perfectly suited to your hair.

Also, there is a pair of fluffy bunny slippers. They are almost disgustingly cute. And fuzzy. And warm.

Under the tree, you may find a box, wrapped in happy shiny paper. Inside the box is a fairly large bottle of Glenmorangie, and a card with an inscription in careful copperplate.

Try to make this one last till the bar's restocked, k?

You'll find your gift under the Christmas tree with a little tag that has your name in changing colours attached to it. It's a square box, wrapped in blue paper with snow flakes painted on and it's charmed to look as if the snow flakes are being blown by the wind.

Inside the box, you will find 30 chocolate truffles. They are all filled with dark chocolate but each one tastes differently when you eat it (mint, strawberry, blueberry, pumpkin, nuts and chocolate itself). On top of tasting different, they each also give one of four different momentary sensations (it's impossible to tell which one will do what before eating them and it's not flavour-related):

1- you feel warmth spreading inside your chest;
2- you feel as if a gentle breeze blows over your face;
3- you feel your whole skin tingling once from head to toe;
4- you feel as if you're in a sugar rush for about 5 minutes (but you don't crash afterwards).

There's also a card in which the following is written:

"We haven't met in person yet but I do hope you enjoy your gift."

Under the tree, you will find a shiny gift bag with your name on the tag. Inside the bag is a bit of an unusual gift. It's a gift card, but not like the type you'd find in any normal store. This is a gift card that a) only you can use and b) you don't have to use at a specific store.

Inside the bag: one of those plastic bottles with a sports top - the kind that you squeeze, in the bottle is a potion. Attached to the bottle are the following instructions:

1) You have $30.00 of your currency to spend.
2) Carry this with you when you go shopping.
3) Once you've found the item you wish to purchase, drink the potion.
4) Once you've finished the potion, the money will automatically be deposited into your bank account, or will appear in your wallet, if you have no account.
5) Spend your money.

Beneath that are the words: Hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas.

Then, a P.S. - The potion is only good for the next 30 days, after that, the affects may be altered.

and Soft Parade by the Doors on vinyl.

and candy bars cause everyone needs candy bars.

The card on the outside says
"To Eros, Gifts... Music for your ears, words for your heart... and chocolate just because."
