Friday DE: AU theater

Let's play with alternate realities today. What would it be like if one of your pups ended up in other another pups reality? Switch of genres? Give suggestions. Make fic props! Have fun whatever you do.

Jay would make a great Viking. He has just enough of the scary fatalistic thing going on to kick ass in any war band.

Sinric would make a really crap superhero.

Gods, yes!

Sunshine would make a fantastic Charter Mage. Her power being drawn from the sun would allow her to be pretty effective in fighting the Dead.

Yrael would be interesting as a usually-villainous sometimes-ally in a superhero movie or comic.

I've already thoroughly thought about Emcee ending up in the True Blood world as Eric's Progeny and being terrible at being a vampire. At first, at least. He eventually gets the hang of it. Eric gives him a job at Fangtasia as a waiter/dancer and Pam gets to dress him up in Hot Topic-esque clothes.

But Emcee and Pam do not ever want to be in the Vikings world. The whole outdoors thing and no indoor plumbing. Pam would make an impressive pampered bitch queen, though.

It may just be his moustache, but I feel like Wilford would make a great Victorian adventurer. Nobody to tell him what to do, and he'd get to wrestle bears and stuff. He'd love it.

Dodger, I have no idea. I think what she'd like most is just a universe where there aren't monsters and magic and everything is normal.

Abe no Seimei would make a great/annoying Jedi master.

YT...huh. I could see her in a number of different canons. Give me a canon and if I know it, I'll come up with an alternate version of YT as she would appear in that canon.

The only other canon I know well enough to stick Amascut into would be Jim Butcher's Alera canon (Tavi's canon) but that is mostly Lee and I decided that because of Amascut's powerset she would likely be one of the High Ladies. I think, with her hair and complexion she would fit right in with the Parthians, iirc. But I have no idea how growing up in Alera and having a much shorter lifespan would have affected her personality.

That actually got me thinking about an AU idea were the Zarosian and Kharidian Empires merged peacefully. Amascut might be a Legatus or Praetorian in the Empire. Heck, maybe the empires merged through marriage, and she might be God Empress Consort. Amascut's name would be an obvious allusion to the Latin word amascat. But Runescape would likely be a space-faring RTS then, and the factions would be the human-dominated Teragardian Empire, the Tarddiad elves, the more inclusive Gielnorian Alliance, and Pandemonium.

On second thought, Amascut would likely fit just fine into Star Wars canon as a very manipulative behind the scenes Sith Lady with a very pleasant public non-Sith face.

Fairy Fixit is a natural fit in Tinkerbell's expanded canon. Possibly a minor character in Star Wars too, but she would likely be even more insect-like or a Toydarian :P

Oh, forgot Evil Chicken.

...

Are Evil Chocobos a thing? FLEE FROM ME! KWEH!
Other than that, Evil Chicken could be a silly Cucco boss in a Legend of Zelda game

Then again, there is Terry Goodkind's Evil Chicken...

Oh gods, I have so many!

Hannibal would do quite well in Dorian's Victorian London, exploiting the seamy underbelly and living the high life in some mysterious town house with deep basements, including all the monsters. Teja and Ragnar could easily live in each other's worlds. Dorian would love to live in the future, so perhaps Father Harman's world, while Harman himself would enjoy a world without vampires, so perhaps Hannibal's, which has the most bizarre serial killers but definitely no literal vampires.
