Okay, I've got another theory regarding Milliways, this time to explain why some patrons who are apparently solidly Bound vanish for extended periods of time with no IC explanation. I started to develop it when Luke-mun was trying to come up with an IC reason why he left Val for so long.

They are stuck at the Big Bang Burger Bar. It is the opposite of Milliways, and patrons stumbling through a nondescript door near the bathrooms will find themselves there, and are frequently Bound for undetermined periods of time. We will not be setting any scenes there, because that would invalidate the purpose of it. Characters who were stuck there will likely have met, details to be worked out by the muns in question.

It's a crazy theory, but that's normal for Milliways. And it's cannon.

. . . I don't think there's really enough potential locations for it to be a franchise. More two places with the same owner; the Landlord controls both.
