My playlist hit Pacific Rim soundtrack material a while ago, and left me with the urge to play Stacker Pentecost again. Thing is, I'd been aiming for an AU where as many people as possible lived, and I've recently seen set photoshoots of John Boyega as Stacker's son after his father died... how am I supposed to go AU if it means leaving John Boyega out of the picture?

This weekend I worked on my temperature blanket (which admittedly is only a couple of inches long so far, being just a week into the year-long project), and apped my first new character in.... entirely too long. :D?

Rollo returns to raiding and I am left with conflicting things.

With the return of Star Wars rebels, Sabine kicks ass; taking out a squad of Imperial commandos! And in a few episodes, she's going to be pivotal to Mandalore's future. One could even say she'll be a fulcrum. If the trailer is to be believed.

I've been working on getting my art mojo back, and I feel like I may have cracked it. Not necessarily getting it back, but part of why I lost it in the first place.

I am in canon hell right now, and loving it. Schrodinger's Jim is still a thing - for six more days - and even though I'm like 98% sure he's dead, I JUST WANT TO KNOW.

Fandom is in a state after the last ep, and it's both awful and great. No one has a clue. The showrunners are evil and great (and sometimes terrible). Mrs Hudson rules the world. It's all a great, enjoyable mess. :D

This being a day behind everything is ruining my Tumblr experience, man. RUINING IT. All of a sudden, all of the embroidery and YouTube blogs I follow suddenly become Sherlock blogs for a day, and I'm like, AUGH I'VE NOT SEEN IT YET STOP THIS!

I am apping a new pup this time, YAY OVERWATCH. And figuring out which pups are never coming back and prepping to clear them out.

Literally the only good thing to come out of the inauguration, as far as I'm concerned: due to being on the Hill, we just got word today that we don't have to report to work on the 19th. (The 20th is already a holiday for everyone in the DC metro area.) TWO DAY WORKWEEK, WOOT WOOT.

Maybe I'll bake more stuff with this beauty. Or...work on those Alistair OOMs? Set my TV on fire to preclude any temptation re: watching the inauguration? The possibilities are endless.
