Thursday DE: rewind
Next time your character steps into the bar, they’re suddenly from ten years earlier in their life: e.g., your 30-something from 2015 is now a 20-something in 2005. What’s going on with them these days? How do they react to the bar? What if it’s twenty years earlier? ...and if it applies (hello, vampires and elves and gods), what about 100 years earlier? 1000 years?

Twenty years earlier...see his teenage entries. :/

Kylo ten years ago was in training with Snoke and not quite as powerful as he is currently. Twenty years ago he was pretty much fresh off killing his classmates. Good times.
Sikozu is only six!

Fairy Fixit 100 years ago... well, my closest headcanon point is that she graduated from college 200 years ago. I suppose she would be much more happy and optimistic. Civilization was finally re-emerging planetside afterall.

He immediately declares the bar the BEST THING EVER and patently refuses to go back unless an authority figure bodily drags him through the door.

Selina would also be a kid and I think her mother has either just disappeared or is about to. I'm pretty sure season three said she'd been gone six or ten years. Going with gone, Selina is hurting but acting tough. She's convinced herself that her mother ran away to protect Selina and is somehow noble in doing this. As to her reaction to bar, I think she'd settle in okay but might be more likely to see Milliways as another place to steal from, rather than a safe haven.
Ten years ago for Sabine would put her at just past toddler and she is aiming to make her mother proud. She's priming herself to join the Imperial Academy and has bought the narrow, near Fascist view of Mandalore she's been taught. (New canon has made me shift things a bit.)
More later maybe.

Twenty years earlier in 1914, he was around thirteen to fifteen years old. He had left Mama Lily's home/brothel to work on his own as a rent boy, hanging out in designated safe bars to attract customers. Being a sex worker was pretty much his whole existence, and he didn't think of himself as anything else.

Twenty years ago, because of Eric's rebelliousness in defying the Vampire Authority, the Magister sentenced Pam and Eric to live in Shreveport and run said video store. This more than anything caused Pam to never sleep with Eric ever again. They had been on-and-off for a while, but this time it was permanently off.
A hundred years ago, Pam was just a baby vampire! And she and Eric were free to travel the world together. Even then she was strong-willed and independent, but she still had a lot to learn from Eric about being a vampire. Eric himself was learning how to be a Maker, but he spoiled Pam and allowed her to turn a human just after a year. Thaaaat didn't go well when the novelty wore off. It's not clear what happened to Pam's first Progeny but either she or Eric might have had to kill him.
Pam would probably regard Milliways with the same bitchy disdain as she does now. Vampires don't change much.

The hair.
Eric a thousand years ago was either newly turned vampire (and would probably have done horrible and unspeakable things if arriving in Milliways) or bratty chieftain's son wholly uninterested in ruling anything. A magic bar filled with women though - he'd have been okay with that.

Cosette: ...Oh geez. Uh, Cosette is not yet 8, and thus an abused malnourished child quasi-slave living with the Thénardiers. She would come in and regard this as a bewildering but wonderful heaven and never ever go back, even without Fantine. And Fantine is here, so she would thereafter grow up in Milliways with her mom, and the entire plot of Les Mis would be different. So that'd be an interesting AU from canon, anyway!
Thor: Ten years is not a lot in Thor's life, so I'm going to interpret this developmentally: he's the rough equivalent of a human in his mid to late 20s right now, so he'd be in the equivalent of his mid to late teens.
...He'd be, uh. Hearty! Enthusiastic! Endearingly puppyish sometimes and really, really annoyingly obliviously arrogant other times! Much louder than currently about how books are boring and fighting is great, yay glory, who wants to fight, fighting is so awesome, look what my hammer can do, lol you poor puny mortals are so breakable and your lives are so short oh my god, don't you wish you were Asgardian, hey wait aren't we gods to you? On the bright side, he'd be more used to some friendly adult squelching, so at least the poor-puny-mortals bit would probably get stomped on fast by Milliwaysers (I hope).
Kazul is another for whom ten years is minimal, and the developmental thing isn't all that applicable for her; she's now in her probably 60s-ish, she'd be in her 50s-ish. She might not have grandkids yet, or only one? Uh. Let's bend the rules and stretch the time for a more interesting answer: 1000 years ago she was probably a young dragon still, and having a bit of a cheerfully wild youth. Many things would end up on fire.
Doctor Dinosaur: I mean, who knows his age, but I'm going to say he's either an egg attached to lots of sensors, or an ickle cute baby murdersaurus inclined to bite fingers and shrill (around his mouthful of your hand) about his triumph. Less world domination of disgusting mammals, more HA HA GOTCHA.

My trouble is I hardly ever really remember them for when I am bored. I actually have a locked post in Doctor Dinosaur's journal keeping track of them, since he's the kind of character who benefits from a secret stash of Genius Plan possibilities.

Sherlock: My headcanon says he was splitting his time between studying chemistry in university and doing what amounts to chemical experiments on himself.
Furiosa: Oomph. Furiosa was probably fighting her way up from being a former "wife" of Immortan Joe to being the imperator she is during the movie. It was likely a very bleak time.

And so it began.
Again.

Feuilly - Ten years ago he was in his late teens, reading every bit of history he could get his hands on, living quite independently as a worker, making connections withing Paris's immigrant and refugee community. Oh my GOD if he had found the bar then you would never have got him to leave the library. NEVER. NEVER EVER. Especially since at that point he hadn't gotten as politically active as he later became--he wouldn't feel nearly so much tug to get back to his world and his political work.
Lesgle - I have the feeling that ten years ago he had just bought the coat he's still wearing. It's an old friend. He was either newly in Paris, or soon to leave for school there, and he still had money. And hair. Oh days of yore. He would have been delighted with Milliways, much in the way he is now--what a cool ridiculous place full of cool ridiculous people.
Mary - Ten years ago she was five. She would have thought the bar was cool because there would have been lots and lots of cakes and strawberries.
Gredya - Oh man if I can remember the chronology I made up for her correctly, she was a wee pup ten years ago! She would have come to the bar and smelled everything and peed on it. And tried to eat the cats. So really things are much the same.

Evelyn would be a child and really freaked out by the Bar.
Lois would be a teenager and probably trying to use Bar to bum cigarettes and booze off people.
Artoo would be working for Padme still, and not yet the fully awoken, devious droid we know. (Still foul-mouthed, though, and he would remember the kid he flew with a couple months earlier...)
Anakin would be a brand-new Padawan. He would love Milliways.
Tavi would be about a year, maybe 18 months away from turning Aleran politics permanently on its head simply by existing and being himself. He loved Bar at that age, he really did, because it didn't matter that his furies were coming in slowly, he fit and there was so much to learn. They were good days. Sometimes I miss playing him that pure.

Marius is twelve or thirteen, extremely serious, extremely quiet, and with no friends his own age whatsoever. Also a baby royalist with a faint disgust for his absent father, which uh... is probably the most dramatic difference from now.
Though I haven't played either of them in ages, ten years is about the length of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell canon! So Mr. Segundus has just moved to Yorkshire, and Arabella Woodhope is avoiding getting proposed to by Jonathan Strange.

Bahorel- depending on if you're using our world's timeline or Hugo's, he's either settling well in to the growing radical republican movement or just getting into the Double Vote Charter-breaking trouble that's going to end in the Lallemand riots. Either way, he's also starting to get into the newly blooming Romantic movement. His days are Just Packed, albeit not with the classes he's ostensibly taking. He would have absolutely raided the Library, for information and for inspiration, and been interrogating everyone who seemed to come from a later time in a world like his for information on How It All Went.
Gringoire- 10 years ago he was just starting to study with Claude Frollo, and moving from being a homeless jobless street kid with no prospects to a homeless jobless street kid with SOME prospects. It's a hopeful and pretty exciting time for him! He actually wouldn't spend as much time in the Library as he does now-- that's a great place when you can read, and a little frustrating when you're not just learning how to read but sort of how to Think About reading. But he would have been quite as ready to exploit the Warm Place With Food aspects of Milliways.
Djali-wouldn't have been born. But she had her Wild Teen Years too! Pretending she didn't know her name, frolicking into the middle of the street, flirting with the other cute goats, eating really rich people's coats. Innocent carefree days before the wisdom of full goathood came to her.
