Flashback Fic Friday DE

Let's do a fic Friday with a twist today.

A- Comment with the characters you'd like to play with.
B- Look at other players' comments and offer prompts, hopefully getting your own in the mean time.
C- Write a fic from the prompt but set in your character's past.

Hopefully this won't lead to spoilers.

Hey, sorry! For clarity, what are you intending by "institutionalized behavior"? I can't find a good definition of it, beyond something often found in people who've been in the military. (Which, you know, is a good context clue but leaves me at a loss for what it consists of!)

Oh, no need for a sorry at all! Your line of thinking is exactly what I meant to hit on — a reliance on the rhythm of routine, and how stepping outside of that box can be a difficult adjustment. Does that make sense, and/or work as a potential prompt? If not, I am more than happy to offer another. <3!

Oh, awesome! I could definitely write something for the prompt now, but Chuck died in the military so I don't think I could really write one set in the past >.>. Unless maybe when he's a kid, something about his dad... hmmm.

I'll keep it, and think about it! It sounds like it could be fun.

Whoops, and here I wasn't even thinking about his present canon — fail on me, m'dear! My brain was focusing on his childhood and military upbringing. Please don't feel obligated to keep this one on your writing radar, but if you decide to play around with it, I would be all kinds of excited to see where it goes!

(And, okay, so my heart just did a Thing when you mentioned his dad, not even gonna lie. Fambly feels!)
