Playing forward from Friday's topic, what character development would you like to see/have seen happen to your character?

I would have liked to have seen more development between Lex and Tess and to see how she reacted to it. I realize that was never likely to happen, but it would have been cool.

To varying degrees depending on the production, I long for the AU where Harry and Hal realize they're just being manipulated by all the crappy authority figures in their lives and just join forces. Also, it would be nice for Harry to have ever noticed that his wife is awesome.

As I said last time, Marius's growth is basically all left to do at the end of the novel, and while that would have been nice to see a bit of onstage, one awkward dude's coming-of-age story is not actually what the book is concerned with.

And of course, it would have been nice for Viol not only to come to a point of talking back to self-centered, sexist aristocrats she has a crush on, but to realize that she doesn't have to put up with them at all, but oh well.

Generally, though, I choose characters because I like their arc. I haven't yet apped someone in order to do some kind of fix-it (except Marius, sort of).

I'd like to see him more, period. He got a little cameo in that choose your own adventure thing I shared in crackchat, in the true ending. It was cute, but damnit, now I really want a proper video.

Actually, this goes for Mark and Dodger too. Sequels and side projects have been batted around and hinted at, but nothing has come of it. Probably because Dodger's all busy planning her wedding and bouncing her time between LA, Oregon, and England. So, you know. Can't really fault them for it if that's the reason.
