I would have liked to have seen more development between Lex and Tess and to see how she reacted to it. I realize that was never likely to happen, but it would have been cool.
To varying degrees depending on the production, I long for the AU where Harry and Hal realize they're just being manipulated by all the crappy authority figures in their lives and just join forces. Also, it would be nice for Harry to have ever noticed that his wife is awesome.
As I said last time, Marius's growth is basically all left to do at the end of the novel, and while that would have been nice to see a bit of onstage, one awkward dude's coming-of-age story is not actually what the book is concerned with.
And of course, it would have been nice for Viol not only to come to a point of talking back to self-centered, sexist aristocrats she has a crush on, but to realize that she doesn't have to put up with them at all, but oh well.
Generally, though, I choose characters because I like their arc. I haven't yet apped someone in order to do some kind of fix-it (except Marius, sort of).
Ahsoka: I would love to see what happened between her self-titled novel and Star Wars Rebels. I'd also love confirmation that she hung out with Asajj for a bit post Clone Wars (despite what Dark Disciple would have you believe about Asajj's fate.)
Sabine: I'd like to have seen the struggle she had in learning to trust Hera and the growing Rebel Alliance. I'd like to have seen her the Zeb do a solo mission together, as well as maybe them learning to trust each other before Ezra showed up. Another Hera & Sabine solo mission would be been nice. I'd also love a novel or comic covering her escape from the Imperial Academy. I know I'll never get these as Sabine isn't the main character, but I can dream.
Izana: I'd have loved them showing Izana being more independent and not have their narrative revolve around Nagate. I also wish Izana's talent for adapting to their cybernetics was shown in the anime as it was shown in the manga. Maybe if they ever make a season 03 it will come out.
I'd like to see him more, period. He got a little cameo in that choose your own adventure thing I shared in crackchat, in the true ending. It was cute, but damnit, now I really want a proper video.
Actually, this goes for Mark and Dodger too. Sequels and side projects have been batted around and hinted at, but nothing has come of it. Probably because Dodger's all busy planning her wedding and bouncing her time between LA, Oregon, and England. So, you know. Can't really fault them for it if that's the reason.
