The presents Aziraphael has left in the bar are links to entries that'll be unlocked as close to Christmas as I can get to a computer.

I'm off home for a week or two, so do behave yourselves in my absence, and have a lovely Christmas.

I'm afraid you'll have to celebrate the six month anniversary (December 29th, if I remember right) without me, but I'll be thinking about you all.

I can't quite believe the Bar's made it this far. I can't believe how popular it is, and how it's remained for the most part free of wank. It's testament to how much everyone puts into it, and how much everyone cares, and how well everyone plays.

Thanks to absolutely everyone, whether I've played with you or not, for making the past six months spectacular amounts of fun. Thanks for the ridiculous amounts of CRACK, the camaraderie that seems to spring from shared (lack of) sleep patterns, milliways chats, back room insanity, threadzillae... I feel so old, because I can remember the first one. It's been a long six months. It's eaten my life.

I couldn't be more grateful.

Every time I log in here, I am humbled by the sheer amount of awesome around me.

Six months... wow. It feels like longer in one way, and then again it feels like the time just flew by. Thank you for getting drunk and dreaming this all up :P

Natasha hasn't even gotten around to charging, yet.

That's for the best, really. All Lucifer's gotten so far is one case of eternal gratitude.

But that's worth something anyway, of course.

Ah, but that was freely given, not taken as payment for the coffee.

But still worth something.

True, but you reach a point where you wonder if you want eternal gratitude with everyone in the bar upset about your requirements for the coffee(not to mention problems with Security over the 'no business' rule) or unspoken eternal gratitude from everyone happy that you gave them wonderful coffee?

Well, that's why it's handy for Lucifer that it was a freely-given gift - that way, it's worth something, but it's also not business.

And it's not a soul.

... although Tasha has made a few jokes about that.

But nothing serious.

Still, even freely given, I don't think the bar would look kindly on the collection of souls.

Mmm... no, perhaps not.

But then, the only thing that's been given so far was Meg's eternal gratitude, and that wasn't even to Tasha.

I know, just forewarning and all.

*sulks*

The anniversary will either be on the 29th or 30th, depending on if we're going by the date of the journal's creation or the first entry.

And on that note, Gaa! You've taken half a year of my life! And I've loved every minute of it. You've given me more acceptance and friendship than school or church!
