Welcome to another week. May you crush your to do lists and have fun!

For today's topic...it's been hot, like stuck to the vinyl, itchy skin, burning eyes hot. Or your pup just got through with a big fight with someone they care about. Or they know they need to have a talk with said person, but are dreading a fight. Or there is a thing that needs doing but they can't do it quite yet...either way, whatever the cause, your pup is feeling anxious and stressed. What do they do to try and calm themselves?

Tess meditates a lot, does yoga, that sort of thing.

Kylo uses breathing techniques, or he stays anxious and stressed and takes it out on perfectly innocent technology.

Sikozu doesn't calm down and takes it out on the people around her.

Anxiety and stress make Rose scared and then she turns into Thorn. That's not good for anyone.

Well since Adobe refuses to let me use it's programs without updating and my software admins aren't in the office yet, I guess I'll take a stab at my answers...

Ahsoka, oddly enough seems to sing or chant. I have no canon evidence for this, and I would've expected her to meditate or do what we'd call katas, which I am sure she does, but chanting and singing is what works best for her it seems.

Sabine paints or sketches. If that's no working, target practice and/or explosive experimentation.

Sam runs...which I just don't get when it's hot.

Danny definitely does katas, although it may also be tai chi. In the past he likely got into mischief, if some of his accounts of his childhood are anything to go by.

Izana goes for walks or reads. They might do some cooking, especially now that they know Nagate.

Sunshine cleans her apartment or her bakery to within an inch of its life, taking out any frustration on any stains or dust or clutter she finds. Cleaning is her go-to answer to a bad mood, because it's very nearly instant gratification when it comes to seeing results.

And cleaning is also a manifestation of PTSD?

Quite likely, in part, though I don't know that she is aware of it. Even Sunshine's pre-canon answers to bad moods and anxiety fall in line with common compulsive behaviors relating to PTSD, compulsive cooking and baking in large quantities, compulsive cleaning, compulsive washing, etc. I'm sure those behaviors just became more solidified into her behavior during and after canon.

Sahaal cleans and polishes his armour and weapons when stressed. It's quite cathartic for him, and he enjoys working with his hands. If he can't scrub any more, he goes and fires off a few rounds at the range.
