ETA: This can be a person within canon, Milliways, meta as the player, or whatever inspires. Originally I had meant within canon and character POV, but run with it as you will.

How are we taking this, like within canon? To us as the writers? To the character as it was actually being developed for book/TV/film/whatever?

Within canon:

Tess was heavily influenced by Papa Mercer and then Lex, and a little less so by Checkmate and then, finally, Clark.

Kylo clearly has Snoke tracks all over him.

Sikozu was influenced by Scorpius, but that doesn't last long.

Rose has been influenced by her parents and then by Dr. Chritlow, who trained her on how to create Thorn (not that they got what they expected).
