Wednesday DE: Heroes

After seeing Wedge Antilles fanboy both Baze and Cassian in last week's DE: who are your characters' heroes they would react to in that way (even if just internally).

(See ongoing complicated thread between AU!Sin and Dr Fell Hannibal.)

Jay's pretty desolation about the whole thing. He knows all the big names in the cape and mask crowd. Hard to look up to people your adopted dad has already worked our how to kill several times over.

I suspect Bodhi would geek out at meeting Leia. I suspect he'd get on well enough with Luke, if only because they're a pair of desert boys from back-world planets.

Ahsoka doesn't hero worship, though she does look up to people. Anakin, Obi-Wan, Plo Koon, Captain Rex, Padmé Almdala, and Riyo Chuchi, come to mind.

Sabine likely worships past Mandalorian heroes. I'd think she'd internally fangirl over meeting Bo-Katan, but we'll see once the final season starts. In bar, she's got Thor and Diana to beam at. I think she kept her cool but at the same time she was screaming inside.

Why can I never seem to think of answers beyond these two?

Hera doesn't really react to people that way in general. She probably felt a lot of admiration for her father growing up, but then they grew apart, and Hera was left… slightly disillusioned with the concept. There are definitely people she respects tremendously, but I think she's more of the mold of believing you really have to be your own hero.

Kanan, on the other hand, idolized many of the Jedi Masters (I tend to think in particular Aayla Secura and Luminara). He was also a huge dork about meeting Cham Syndulla, but that was only partially out of a hero-worship sort of thing.

Sariel's already met one of hers in the bar: Kirk, on her first trip to Milliways. She's also glimpsed McCoy, just briefly, and had a moment of 'oh my lord, that really was him!' before the Allpocalypse took over again. Sulu, though, and at least a few other notable pilots down the centuries--oh goodness. And if a couple historical Lucians were to walk in someday, don't think she wouldn't squee. Or probably try her hardest not to squee out loud, knowing her. :)
