Hi there, Milliways! My name's Catharine and I'm brand new to this game, after being in the Dreamwidth RPG scene for a while and then kind of vanishing for a few years, then getting the itch to play back. I'm bringing in Graverobber, the grave-robbing, drug-dealing, plot-narrating character from Repo! the Genetic Opera.

I'll put up a post to the bar for Graverobber later today, but I figured I'd say hello since I'm brand new to the game. Looking forward to meeting/playing with you guys!

Hey Catharine! Welcome to the party!

I'm Munnin, the bar's random Australian and keeper of strange timezones. I play Jason Todd from the DC comics New52 era, Sinric the Wanderer from Vikings, and Bodhi Rook from Rogue One.

I love Repo and look forward to tagging with Graverobber but you'll have to forgive me if I'm awfully slowly, timezones and work loads being what they are.

Well, in the interests of full disclosure, I'm currently playing Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren (Star Wars, though them being from a kids show, I don't know how they'd mix with your pup), Hank McCoy (X-Men First Class movie canon), Sam Wilson (MCU), Selina Kyle (Gotham, might be a fit given Gotham weirdness), Shinatose Izana (Knights of Sidonia), Danny Rand (Netflix Marvel), and Tybalt (Toby Daye series, though I haven't brought him back in yet).

Lol I do feel like he and Selina might get along, given their mutual penchant for petty crime and living on the streets. I feel like Danny might also potentially not be thrilled with him, given Graverobber's stock and trade.

I am only vaguely familiar with your canon, ~~having seen the movie the opera was inspired by but not the opera~~*, but I am sure you are right.

Oh, and I am in the Pacific time zone, and mostly play at work; so during the week in bankers hours.

*And I actually checked my assumptions for once and discovered Repo has no connections to Repo Man. Silly me.

It would! Especially if most of the set was inspired by the old generic labeling used throughout the film. =]

I'm playing at work too and probably will continue to do so, so I'm sure we'll have some overlap even though I'm on the East coast. Also I agree that your edit is amazing. ~~I was so confused by the initial comment. "Wait, they made an opera out of it? A legit opera?? WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME?"~~

I'm Zed, and I play Wilford from Markiplier's occasional random videos, Mark and Dodger from Resident Enis, and Xephos from the Yogscast adventures. Though mostly just Wilford really. I work from home, so I often go through cycles of having nothing to do for an entire week to disappearing off the face of the planet unexpectedly.

Would you be up for me setting up a post where Graverobber leaves him a message offering to sell him some?

Go for it. Wilford once stole heroin from Slenderman in canon, so it should be interesting at the very least! Are you on Discord?

Hello and welcome! I am Batty(cakes, or Bats, as you chose *bows*), mun of a few pups, the most active of which are: Barry Allen (Arrowverse), Matt Murdock (Netflix), Charlie Kenton (Real Steel), Logan (nebulous-Astonishing-X-men-comics-verse), and Hellboy (Del Toro films).

I'm in the Mountain time zone and generally most active during office hours (shhhh, don't tell my office), but occasionally committing shenanigans in the hours of the night because sleep is for the week. Or something.

I do not know Repo, but part of the awesome brilliance of Milliways is getting to know new canons and characters, so it's all good. :D!

Sadly, from what I know by osmosis of Repo (my wife blocked the first shadowcast show of it in the country, some time ago), I don't... think these two would get along so great. XD

Yay for someone familiar with canon by osmosis! It's nice to meet you :D And hah, I'm sure there's plenty of types that Graverobber wouldn't get along with, though that can still be fun to play out xD

Did you say drug-dealing? Hi! My junkie garbage vampire Cassidy (from Preacher) will definitely hit your pup up for some illegal stuff once they meet and he finds out what Graverobber is selling. I'm sure this will be a terrible idea, and by terrible I mean awesome.

I did see that! By all means, do so! I'll keep an eye out for it. At the moment Cassidy has like zero cash, though, so he may try to wrangle a deal with him.
