There are only a few general guidelines. Near death experiences, maiming, or significant broken bones are discouraged, and Security should be involved anyway. Murder, discorporation, and setting people on fire is straight out.

Imrprovised weapons, such as broken chair legs, are feasible, but no broken bottles or actual weapons. However, please ask for Security interference sooner there than other places.

Above all, have fun, and remember, OOC communication is key!

Should there be a follow-up arrest/cells post with Security so that people who were involved in the melee can turn themselves in or actively deny being involved or ... >_>

That's a good idea. I know Vyvyan was arrested, but no one else was yet. Gene Hunt and X and Molly Hayes were ostensibly on the scene, aside from Baze Malbus. So Security definitely had a presence, though I don't know if they're doing anything about it.

Security generally waits for involvement to be requested OOC. I've been keeping an eye on the post, but to the best of my knowledge, nobody's asked for Security pups to wade in yet.

Ditto -- I was out of town and afk for the weekend, but now that I'm back I'm keeping an eye on it! But yeah, as Bethan says, Security generally only notices things after it's been OOCly requested that they do so.

(Anyway Thor would ICly either break it up (with deep qualms because BRAWLS ARE FUN DAMMIT) or just start bodily pitching everybody who seemed to be having fun outside to brawl there, so he's only allowed to come onto the scene if requested for a specific continuity. *grin* Sadly, he's my only brawler, but I'm having great fun reading everything!)
