How adventurous is your pup in regards to food? Will they try anything or would they need convincing to eat the weird thing?

I feel like Loki honestly doesn't care what he eats and will try anything--but reserves the right to complain about it no matter what.

Amethyst will eat anything, because "it feels funny."

Feuilly gets very excited to try food from other cultures!

Gredya disapproves of vegetables and cooked food. But if she's starving she'll eat anything.

William is gonna side-eye the hell out of anything that doesn't have visible and obvious meat in it.

Tess has eaten her share of weird foods in her travels, so she's good with trying something new.

Rose would need a lot of convincing.

Kylo would probably try new things, but not tell you if he likes it or not.

Sikozu, when she's hungry, will eat anything and everything.

Ahsoka is pretty adventurous but also has strict dietary needs, what with being carnivorous, so she does have to be somewhat picky.

Being homeless, Selina can't afford to be picky and has likely eaten some very questionable things.

I think Sabine prefers rations but I could be wrong. She's not saying much on the subject.

Danny is used to a modest Chinese cuisine at this point, so sort of adventurous I guess?

Sam is pretty open as long as it's not rotting.

Tybalt is a cat and so is picky as all hell and you can never predict his tastes.

Baze used to want to try everything! Then Dodger challenged him to eat a bowl full of Mac and Cheese of the Kraft variety, and Doritos. Her food-recommendation privileges have been permanently revoked. Now he's hesitant to try anything.

Mostly it makes me want to have Thor re-introduce him to THE JOYS OF FEASTING, though. If you don't like that weird thing, try a different weird thing! Or a different known thing! Here's a table full of them, all are welcome! Please add in some suggestions of your own so Thor can try new weird foods too!

I shouldn't be RPing today because I have a ton of stuff to get done (which of course is why I keep nattering in the back room instead), and next weekend I'm out of town, but I should be available daytime or late evening by North American East Coast time most of this week if you like? Or if not, later works too!

(Also technically Thor is probably off doing OOM stuff I haven't written yet, at the moment, but he is a character with whom I don't mind doing that kind of Millitime shenanigans with! So.)

Wilford is cautiously open to new experiences. Day to day, he sticks to what he knows, but if food is presented to him, he won't turn it down unless he thinks it'll make him sick, or he has good reason to suspect it's some sort of magic bullshit.

Emcee is...well, what's the degree of weirdness? Like is it still moving or raw? He'll probably try it once just so he knows if he should ever try it again.

Cassidy will eat anything given to him, no matter how weird. Not much convincing there.

Same with Floki, but you've got to be eating it, too.

Pam actually prefers not to feed on weird people.

Enjolras tends to go for familiar stuff if he's choosing it himself. At Milliways he does a lot of "dinner, please, maybe something with chicken?" ordering, and Bar takes the opportunity to broaden his horizons reasonably often but does tend to kindly keep it within a fairly mild or familiar flavor profile. That said, he'll try anything at least once if somebody suggests he do so, unless he has reason to think it's a prank suggestion. And if he were someone's guest or visiting another country, he'd eat what he was given and do his very best to be polite.

Cosette is pretty similar to Enjolras, except that she doesn't live at Milliways (and doesn't have so many gleefully experimental friends) so she's had a lot less opportunity to have her horizons broadened by it. Mostly she tends to delight in the chance to get out-of-season produce here; it feels like a delightfully absurd treat to her to have something like fresh apricots in fall or winter.

Thor, on the other hand, is actively adventurous and will eat just about anything. Very often he likes it! And then he has a new dish to add to feasts and introduce friends to! (If he doesn't like it, he'll try -- probably a bit transparently -- to find out if it's an Important Personal Or Cultural Tradition to the person serving it to him to gauge the level of tact to use. He'll eat anything that's not, like, babies if it's important for diplomacy, but he doesn't have to take seconds.)

Kazul has very definite tastes, thank you. It's not that she won't eat something new and potentially weird, but unless she's really hungry, she would like an explanation of what it is so she can gauge whether or not it sounds good, if you please.

Doctor Dinosaur... uh... you know, that's an excellent question. If it's live prey, he'll eat just about anything! Especially if it's just insulted his genius! He has been known to try to chew on a robot, for example. If it's something cooked and prepared, it depends enormously on his mood.

Kanan is used to eating whatever he can get his hands on. Any preferences definitely come second to availability and edibility, and he's careful about conserving and not wasting food. I'd also imagine the Jedi may have had a 'don't indulge too much in worldly desires' sort of attitude about food, but. Mostly just, there was no point in his life when his food habits were particularly insular or extravagant.

Hera is also used to eating whatever is available. While she's more inclined than Kanan to make her preferences known, she's also accustomed to conserving and not wasting food, and wouldn't turn it away just because it doesn't suit her tastes.
