Pre canon recon
Hello milliways players!
When I first sent Sonya into milliways, there was very little in way of backstory, besides her father being in the military and having deceased twin brother. so I had to work with it. Then some years ago, we finally got some backstory, her father was in the military, but he left on a covert mission when Sonya was a child (age is never given but I estimate around 7-9 years old), and never returned. He's since been declared 'missing, presumed dead'.
While I've tried to keep Sonya with the backstory prior to the recon/timeline change, it's easier for me character-wise to make the change itself, as this does have an affect on her background/head canon. Since she's only really open up to a few about her history (and teen!Sonya has only made a few appearances), I've decided to just go on with the recon.
For anyone who was told/involved with knowing Sonya's history, please assume they've been told that Sonya's father went missing when she was a child, and she and her brother have been raised either by their mother or have lived with various relatives.
