Friday DE
Today's DE brought to you by Superhero Movies Galore:
Your character is now on a superhero team! Who is it with? Does it have a name? Will it be permanent or take a break after finishing its job? Or, you know, anything else you decide to brainstorm. Have fun with it.
And for all of us whose characters already have superhero teams, reroll and pick a new one. :D Milliways and canon characters both!

Selina: Joins up with Jay and whomever Kay brings in. They're the Outlaws, naturally. I think it'd be a one time thing, though everyone promises to be there is any of the other people need them.
Hank: Already part of the X-Men, but I would love a future movie where he takes a break and becomes an Avenger for a while. Look, I love Nicholas and Kelsey. They've done great things for the character, but we need the fabulous bouncing Beast!
Sam gets roped into working with the Defenders while following up some leads on finding Bucky. Or just ends up there. It doesn't have to be Bucky. Can you imagine Sam with Luke, Misty, and Claire? Also, he'd be so worried about Matt, Danny, and Jessica. They're PTSD would be a flashing neon sign to him.
Conversely, Danny stumbling onto the Avengers amuses me to no end. I can't tell how much Danny would listen to Captain America, tbh, but the friction would be grand. I think Danny might even learn some patience from Steve.
Or crossing dimension, it'd be interesting seeing Danny and Flash working together for some reason. Maybe because they both react and then think (Barry having a power set that lets him fix his mistakes). I think Danny would cause all sorts of problems for Barry, being all headstrong and leaping before he thought things out, but it'd be fun to read/watch. I'd also pay gold to see Cisco dealing with Danny constantly telling everyone he's the Iron Fist.
Tybalt has only one team he will ever be on and that is team Toby. He might end up in some ground or mission within Milliways, but it will be a one off thing.
And the pup who's not been approved yet would have the Liberators, an all woman group. She may allow a token guy, just because.

His team is Bucky, Frank Castle, Natasha, Clint, Melinda May, Bobbi Morris, and any other agents/soldiers who've dealt with emotional or mental trauma. They started as a weekly get together, just hanging out watching movies or something. Sometimes they talk about things, some times they just watch bad movies, some times they walk around in the middle of the night and woe be to anyone committing crimes that they come across. The roster varies, but anyone who's been before is welcome, and they're always welcome to bring someone with them.
I have no idea of a name, but they never lose contact with each other.

A little late but yes this! Sam could even provide useful skills beyond a good ear.

I love crossovers and team-ups and don't get to do nearly enough of 'em. And I adore your Danny.
Okay, back to reading/writing contracts (someone save me, please), just wanted to toss out there that I love this idea and am totes on board if you ever would like to make it reality.
Laa!

I just think they both leap before thinking, and Barry gets out of it cause of his powers and his back up. =)

Anyways, adventures in Africa would be awesome (*cranks up Toto*), as would fun times in the Arrowverse! I am up for either (or both XD) and shall catch you to chat ideas and such. <3
And you are absolutely right about Barry, he often relies too much on his powers and falls into the mindset that speed solves everything, which of course leads to him running headlong into every situation and invariably getting into trouble for it. :X
Fortunately for him speed can solve a lot, and he's got great back up in friends.
P.S. Matt doesn't know what Sam is talking about. Everything is fine. >.>

(And I used the wrong 'their' in my original comment.)
I'll think about ideas over the weekend and ping you in chat when I have some. I think both Africa--and you know we're going to have to call it "The Rains Down in Africa" or something now--and Arrow-verse could be a lot of fun! Double cross-over!!!

(Matt is the worst, and everyone knows it.)
Cool beans, I shall also give it a think. Just off the top of my head; right now in Barry's timeline Oliver is having League of Assassins woes, and Danny does know ninjas. Just sayin'.
I don't know how much I'll be about tonight or tomorrow, but I should be Sunday and Monday. *G*

Not as part of a team.
He doesn't do teams. Obviously.
And for any reason in particular.
He just likes violence.

For starters, while Taichi, Sora, and Koushiro would probably form a team from the get-go (with Koushiro as their person-coordinating-with-a-computer), and Jyou might not be that far behind, Yamato and Mimi would both try to remain as independent lone operators for as long as possible. In Mimi's case, that would be because she'd have a whole 'magical girl idol' thing set up and wouldn't want to spoil that, whereas Yamato would just go full raspy-voiced 'I work alone' Batman-style gruff antihero vigilante and would actively resist any attempt to pull him into a team.
He'd constantly find himself agreeing to 'one time only' team-ups, to the point where he becomes an honorary member of the team, and then an actual member of the team, insisting that he works ~alone~ all the while.

Fairy Fixit would be a good mystical tinkerer to have on a team. Her moral compass is a weird fit for a superhero team so I can't see her lasting long on any one team. I am drawing a blank on who she'd fit in with.

There probably wouldn't be a name, or time for anyone to come up with one. Any villain that they would face would be despicable, and possibly interested in conquering more than just a world.
