Hey all, just a few notes on Emcee's upcoming New Year's Eve party:

This week, all your pups are going to handwavily receive invitations from Emcee via Bar. If you're reading this right now, voilà, all of your pups are invited, whether or not they know him or like him. There will also be a flyer posted on the notice board. Of course, you don't have to participate at all. but emcee will be sad

The party will be held in a hangar down in the garage and not the main bar so as to not impose festivities on the general population.

I'll most likely set up the post on Friday or Saturday to allow muns who have actual real life New Year's Eve plans to get a head start. And it'll be open indefinitely.

This is not a plot, just a party!

Ooh, I love the idea of it being down in the garage, if you want any stuff from the SWs' verse, Cassian's working on an X-wing down there and I'm good for handwaving use of things.

If Cassian is working on his ship on the night of the party, Emcee will lineface at him.

Chuck will probably find the party without an invitation (he doesn't go up to the bar too fore ), and assume he is invited (it's happening in his garage!)

Hopefully I will be able to swing Clint as well-- I think he and Emcee would get along well

If it helps, on the day of the party there will be neon-colored arrow decals on the floor of the garage leading to the particular hangar. Also Jay's drones buzzing around so that no one gets lost!

Bring as many pups as you like! Emcee likes meeting new people at parties, it's when he's at his best :)

Ha! He's actually played it before on a visit to a modern day world so they very well might be! They could even light up if you step on them. Because yes, why not.

Btw, I don't know if you're currently playing Bastion as how they appear in your icons, but if Emcee saw a giant robot covered in moss and flowers, he would be delighted. In any case I hope you can bring them to the party, they can learn a lot about human festivities.

Canonically most of the moss and flowers fell off when they walked across the Baltic Sea (or possibly even before that), since in Binary they have the faded orange paint without the plant growth, but I love the look so according to me a few particularly tenacious plants held on the whole time no matter what the official art depicts. They aren't the walking flowerbed they once were, but there's a few moss patches and flowers stubbornly attached to their chassis.

Technically I think they're supposed to have been repainted to their default skin at this canon point, but Bastion and Torbjörn only arrived at the watchpoint nine days ago (their current EP is from only a few hours later than their first EP) and Torb has a very long list of things to do, so maybe he hasn't gotten around to it.

I was definitely planning to bring them!
