Your character has an opportunity to do a bit of time travel. Not time-and-space, just time, so it has to be to somewhere they can physically get to themselves. What do they go for?

Would Baze go back before the temple fell? Yes.

Would he contrive a way to stay there? Also yes.

Unlike his comic book counterpart, Hank knows messing with time is a Bad Idea (tm). Still, he'd love to go back to that wind tunnel.

So. Uh. X actually did this in canon. They all traveled to the future to chase Hope and Cable, and then they had to take off their time-travel devices to go back, and geographically they would end up where they were just -- back in time. No portals. Except that in the past they came from, the Leper Queen was holding some of their friends hostage. And then time got kind of unstable, and most people left where they were. But X stayed and like crawled against super-pain or something as far as getting to where the Leper Queen had Boom-Boom and only then took the bracelet/doohickey off and showed up to smite the Leper Queen before she could kill her.

Even Apocalypse's narration was impressed.

So that's what she would pick.

There's a couple of Deep Roads entrances Varric can think of that're still accessible. He'd pop into one of those in time to pin his brother's hands to the floor before he ever got far enough down to pick up that damned red lyrium idol.

Sahaal travelled ten thousand years through time once, by accident. Even if he had some sort of control, he'd leave hopping through the timeline well enough alone.

I think Emcee would like to see the fall of the Berlin wall. That's his kind of party in the streets.

I couldn't think of anything at first, because there are several obvious problems with going back to before omnics were invented (even more so before digital computers were invented), and returning to the Omnic Crisis era physically would be their actual worst nightmare. However: If you go back far enough, humans cease to be an issue, and you can see dinosaurs! So they're going to visit the Cretaceous and see some really, really big birds.

This is a mechanic in his game, albeit one he's not aware of. Once you acquire the Time Traveling Dog (TM) in Altissa you are able to travel back to past Lucis to do more fun open world things. But this is something triggered by Noctis.

Iggy hasn't reached the point in his canon where he'd be interested in time travel. Once he does, I wonder if he would want to travel far back to when Solheim was still standing--and try doing some meddling he absolutely shouldn't do (but absolutely wants to do).
