IMDB flu season?

Hullo! There was talk yesterday of IMDB flu, and unless someone has already planned for it I'm willing to run it. Has anyone already made plans? I'm not trying to take over if you have!

Also...does anyone have a link handy to previous back-room explanations of IMDB flu mechanics?

I haven't made any plans just noting that it hadn't been run. I need to go back in the archives but I'll see about finding a post. The main thing is there's always a patient zero but it quickly moves beyond them as everyone gets sick. In terms of mechanic beyond that, if your pup has a voice actor and not a PB, that's fair game in terms of who they might think they are.

As far as mechanics go, my Google search didn't turn up anything but this post announcing the flu in 2015:

I guess we've done it so long we don't bother with the explanation? But with new people, might be a good time to explain things.

Now I need to decide if there enough difference between Danny Rand and Loras Tyrell.

From what I remember of the mechanics, you use your characters face (be it actor from canon or someone you picked out in cases where there is no visual canon, i.e. a book) to see what other roles said person has also done. This is usually done via IMDB (as Fi explained).

In cases, such as animes or the like, people usually look at other rolls the voice actor has done for inspiration.

I am sure other options are available, the main idea is that your character thinks they are someone else, but actually aren't, so no spontaneous powers or skills happen.
