IMDB FLU SEASON STARTS 2/2
Hullo! Hopefully no one reading this has the Actual Flu, which is miserable and no fun. It's time, though, for the fun kind of flu, the pretendy kind.
For those who are new or want a refresher: IMDB flu is a terrible condition in which, on top of the usual flu symptoms, your character is firmly convinced that they are someone else: some other character played by whoever it is that you're using for your icons. Your French communist student features the face of Patrick Stewart? Congratulations, he now thinks he's Captain Picard. Or Professor Xavier. Or Lenin, or "Fire Officer" from some 1967 episode of Coronation Street.
This is a hallucination only: very convincing, and perhaps impossibly detailed, but only affecting the mind. Just because your character thinks she's Rey doesn't mean she can now fly boulders around.
Your character is animated? Not a problem, use their voice actor. Your character is depicted in art only, with no actors involved? Ehhh, pick an actor who has played that role in an adaptation?
Flu Season starts 2/2. I'm sorry for the late notice, but I'm kind of squished for time on either end of that window. I will send in a clearly-labeled Patient Zero, and over the next week y'all can get your characters sick. No need to interact on-screen with a sick character to establish infection; as soon as the plot starts feel free to say your characters have picked it up.
Please label all relevant posts with IMDB FLU in the subject heading.
(If you do in fact have the real flu, I am so so sorry and I hope you feel better very soon.)

I might need to talk to Lucifer-mun, though, because the only other character Terrence Zdunich has ever played in a movie is...Lucifer.
And not as pretty a Lucifer as our current one.
So I don't wanna step on any toes on this. :P

For sure check in with Lucifer-mun--but it certainly wouldn't be the first time we've had competing versions of characters because of IMDB flu hijinks. Also, characters the actor has played on stage are totally valid too, doesn't have to be a movie.
(...this is needsmoreresearch, by the way, just being too lazy to change log-ins)

I'll definitely talk to them, I'm totally okay with multiple versions floating around but don't want to be messing with anything they have going on.
Zdunich really doesn't have a ton of acting credits (he's mostly a behind-the-scenes guy) but he *does* play this sort of true-crime-in-the-early-Americas dude on the American Murder Song albums. So if Lucifer messes with anything, he can just be this old-timey Midwestern dude asking people if they want to hear really macabre stories about the Donner Party >:D

It has great comedy potential I think.

I look forward to the hijinks, then! >:D
