ACK!
Why was there no Happy Hour thing put up on Monday?
...
Oh right, I was on an airplane for a chunk of the afternoon.
Dang it all.
Right then.
First things first: Updates.
1) Apps are open for another 3 days.
So please to be taking advantage of that, if you're feeling saucy.
2) We are making headway on Tag Fest, so thank you once again for being patient.
3) Are folks still having issues with the Main Comm page not reliably loading?
And now:
Happy Hour!
Shifts this week include:
Today!...or what's left of it.
Tomorrow!
Friday!
Saturday!
Sunday!
First to claim, first to 'tend.
Have at!

I can fix it. The comm won’t look exactly the same, but the problem is DW not loading custom CSS properly. Modifying a provided style will eliminate the issue entirely.

What I'd like to keep is the amount of information we've got currently displayed, as well as the overall color scheme.
Tinker with some styles and lemme know what you can come up with.

Keeping the metadata will be easy. Just a matter of copy and paste

The current image is hosted on Google, so it will probably outlive us all.I moved it to imgur, since apparently making any tweaks to the layout breaks the image. The mockup is a free account, so I don't have room to add all of the tags in the link bar. But that's a matter of copy and paste, just like the rest of the stylesheet.
The layout is easily portable to other comms, so if the security office or infirmary want matching layouts, the whole thing just needs to be copied over, with the accent colour changed. I don't know why the userpic border disappears when I move the sidebar over to the left, but I blame that on Dreamwidth being increasingly buggy and weird as the devs leave this site to slowly die.
I can put together an instructional page for porting this over to other journals if this is the one you want. For porting it to other journals, the process will involve only one minor tweak to change the colours for each comm, so they all match one another.

Lemme run this up past the other Mods, and see what they think!

I think a change in Style might just warrant a change in graphics as well, but let's go one step at a time.
I think the banner in the profile will do nicely in the top spot.

As long as the dimensions are big enough for a 1080p screen it should work. If it needs to be enlarged to fit, I can do that without too much of a loss in quality. It it’s too small, it will just look weird on most modern screens.

I ask because I was kind of hoping we could add "Plot - " to the beginning of plot tags.

So feel free to skip plots all together for the time being.

You you edit a memory by deleting the name you don't want from that entry. When all of the mentions of that name are gone, the memory tag will disappear.
So what needs to happen is that every entry with BOTH tags, needs to have the incorrect one removed.
