Got a new song you've heard that reminds you of a pup? How about a band that just makes you think of them no matter the song? Or how about a song you've heard that makes you think of other people's pups? Share away!

The blue pill opens your eyes
Is there a better way
A new religion prescribed
To those without the faith
The hero holding a knife
And blood is not enough
Is it too late to go back?
Is it too late to go?
There's no one here
And people everywhere, you're on your own
Let's see if I'm hearing this right
You suggest I should take
A never-ending supply
To carry out the day
Your idols burn in the fire
The mob comes crawling out
I'm reclaiming my mind
Destroying everyone
There's no one here
And people everywhere, you're all alone

Scrapper/Brunnhilde/Valkyrie has been haunted by Warpaint's Love Is To Die:
All on my own
It's confirmed, there’s no world to compromise
You really see nothing of this girl
They look, they don’t know the roots behind ‘cause I got a knife to cut out the memories
As well as Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt:
Beneath the stains of time, the feelings disappear
You are someone else, I am still right here
More later, maybe.

Another, and the song that always makes me think of him, is Hail To The King, by Avenged Sevenfold. Apart from the fact that the cover for the album is a bat-winged skull, which is so similar to the Night Lords Legion emblem that it can't be a coincidence, the lyrics just fit for Sahaal. Especially the lines:
Royal flames will carve a path in chaos
Bringing daylight to the night
Death is riding in the town with armour
They come to take all your rights
It's sinister, for definite, which matches up with his M.O of using fear and psychological warfare, but it's the second line that I like for him. For Sahaal, the entire point behind the use of fear is to bring order and stability. It's not meant to be just for the sake of violence.
Of course, that's not always what it ends up being.

So, most of my 'this song = this pup or this canon" can be blamed 100% on music vid makers. Which I love. So I'll share them. :D
Glitter and Gold by Barnes Courtney for the Marvelverse Heros - This vid is artistry, srs. The anvil sounds in the background always put me in mind of Stark and his box of scraps, but this ties it all together with a awesome sparkly bow.
Friends by Flight of the Conchords for Kirk and Bones friendship. I think it'd fit the Original original series even better, but... *hands*
Shake It Off by Taylor Swift for Sam, Dean, and Cas (and the rest of the Supernatural crew). I refuse to apologize, this is hilarious. And the cast agrees with me, they're in it!
Seagulls is for Yoda. Forever.
Run by Vampire Weekend for Oswin/Clara (ow my heart)
