I am one of those weird people for whom my pups are kept very separate. I'm not a fan of playing off myself and they don't interact in my head, either.

With me this honestly only happens with my Roster of Alerans, aka "that's what they call fanfic." Usually in the form of 'I wish I could see these interactions in a game but reality will never comply with that.' As a result, usually the discussions are traumatic family revelations and emotional conversations working through rifts and regrets and things unresolved before someone (take your pick of many options) died. Oh right, or R2 and Anakin bickering, but that's an extension of canon really.

Except, I suppose, the times I'm reading or watching something and get multiple characters' commentary on what I'm looking at, and then sometimes the arguments start up. Usually this takes the form of either Aleran internal debate or else "another round of Tavi and Anakin discuss strategy and tactics or ethics and philosophy, usually with Tavi patiently explaining why Evil is Stupid."

Honestly it might boil down to my brain having a default process in it somewhere of "so what's Tavi's commentary on this" rather than imagining character conversations as such.

EDIT: I should note: as far as RP itself goes, while I sit and imagine things in my head all the time because what else would I do really, I only RP with myself with another person in the thread, never alone, and then only if it's a situation like parent-and-child or R2-and-Anakin. If I wanted to write my folks talking to each other, I'd write fanfic, that's what it's there for. (In fact, I totally have! I should write more of that Jason Lane-Henry Mills fic, it was fun.)

I'm another one who doesn't do person pup interactions. I've had to do them in the past, with Ben Grimm and Val von Doom, but it was awkward and distracted from the writing.

Still, I can imagine Sam Wilson and Sabine Wren would love comparing notes on flying.

I think Scrapper would be curious about the Mandalorians and Sabine's gear.

Hank and Izana talking of space travel just warms my heart.

I don't like to thread, because it's awkward as hell, but there are ooms I need to do with both Mark and Dodger, and Wilford and Nichola. Before I apped Nichola, she was already in the ooms as an NPC anyway, and the same would have happened with Mark if I hadn't apped him. Having both in bar just gives me the freedom to tell multiple sides of the story.

Especially since one of my pups is the most unreliable person in the world sometimes.

Personally I want Emcee to be able to interact with ALL my pups. (But I never would start a thread with the intention of tagging myself. That's a bit gauche.)

I've had Emcee refer to Cassidy and vice versa in passing in mutual friends' threads, but unfortunately that's all. And of course there was the Christmas fan art.

I've threaded Pam and Emcee, but only when other pups were present, namely Eric and also Jay. Emcee is kind of terrified of Pam but wishes he could ingratiate himself to her a little more. Pam is mostly dismissive of Emcee and doesn't think much of him, seeing him as just another one of Eric's overly enthusiastic fangbangers. She does wonder why Eric allowed Emcee to develop an attachment to him (of course she would never really think the attachment was mutual).

In a sense we do this all the time, in that we both play both Kanan and Hera, and switch off which one of them we're playing. And because we can both take over either character, it lets us play Kanan or Hera against others of our characters without necessarily having to play off ourselves - though sometimes we do if both Hera and Kanan are involved in the thread, or we can have one of them god the other.

And if someone (me) can ever get herself together enough to bring in Asami again, I'd like to see her and Hera talk about piloting.

Very rarely, with the exception of Valjean and Javert. Those two kind of existed as two sides of one character in my head, which I suppose makes sense given they were created from the same RL inspiration. Plus, Javert needed Valjean to survive, so their fates were inevitably twined.

I considered writing one OOM where Gene and Javert talked, but never got around to it. Other than that, I can't think of many instances where I've purposefully written an OOM that included more than one of my pups, and they simply don't talk to each other in my head.

I've never done it before, and I certainly wouldn't thread with myself, because where the fun in that? But, since my personal headcanon for Milliways has my pups (present and any future) living on the same hallway, I would definitely be prepared to write prose stories of them interacting.

As for what they might talk about, I really don't know. Sahaal doesn't have that much in common with Artyom, and I'm not sure that I even want to keep Sevatar on at this point.

Ok, so long ago I actually threaded with Amascut and Evil Chicken talking to eachother, and technically Evil Chicken is still roosting on my roster. And the only reason they're able to talk to eachother is because death is meaningless to Evil Chicken. There is no reason Evil Chicken would give a damn about a minor goddess of death like Amascut, even if she threatened to eat its soul. Evil Chicken has defeated Death himself. Death can't even cause a tie game in tic-tac-toe against Evil Chicken!


Ok, I slipped back into Evil Chicken's megalomania way too easily. :D

Fairy Fixit is way too squishy and mouthy and hateful of gods to survive a conversation with Amascut. And as gods go, Amascut is the worst! She doesn't even try to justify the things she does! SHE JUST DOES THEM!

Plus Amascut has no reason to talk to a fairy from her world anyway (besides Chaeldar, a particularly murderous fairy), she would just squish the fairy and grumble that no one understands her.

Mine do actually interact, especially if there is another mun's character present for a three-ways chat. The one charrie of mine that interacts with most of his headspacemates is Teja -- 'Suti knew him, Urq knew him, Ragnar and Father Harman and Galen work with him in some capacity, and of course he knows Hannibal.

I don't disapprove of the idea but it hadn't particularly occurred to me. I've tried threading with myself elsewhere with OCs, and while I can play several people at once in an ensemble scene that other players are involved in, if all of the characters present are mine, keeping the scene chugging along in the usual format is exhausting.

Bastion and Aradia would probably get along reasonably well, having both undergone a rebirth in some sense and taken control of their own destinies; Thurlow is much more dour and cynical, and would probably find either of them to be a welcome ray of sunshine at first but exhausting in the long run.
