Monday DE: Do you, uh, AU?
I blame reading “Old Man Logan” this weekend for this.
Got any fun AU ideas for your pup’s canon? Anything you’re itching for AU Week for?

I don't necessarily think too much about Repo! AUs, but I do kind of consider the canon itself to be "What if Alice in Wonderland, but cyberpunk and also everything goes terribly wrong?"

Sam Wilson as an air bender, likely post-Legend of Korra. This is entirely based on some wicked cool fan art by Beth Liddle.
Izana: I still like the idea of them as a shikigami that gains free will and sentience who now hunts harmful spirits.
A Force sensative Sabine might happen someday (which i sort of did but didn't post much) and I've been seeing some nice Sith Ahsoka designs, as much as that would hurt my brain to do.
Also, I love the idea of Netflix Danny ending up responsible for an 8 year old girl who's a refugee from K'un Lun, ala the Comixology exclusive Immortal Iron Fists comic. It'd like have to be post-Defenders and Iron Fist season 02 to work, as Danny has things to work through, but I love the idea.

And while the Terran Empire generally works in Star Trek as 'morally invert your characters,' it's different if most of your characters are aliens, including Kanan in our case, since we made him half-Betazoid as a way to give him his "Force" powers. And with aliens and the Terran Empire... you're basically back in Star Wars. We've sort of landed on a Hera who is still a rebel, but much crueler and more calculating and ruthless than her prime counterpart, and a Kanan who serves in Terran Starfleet and lashes out at the Empire's enemies to express his own resentment at how the Terrans treat him for being part-alien. And Thrawn is still basically Thrawn, except helping the rebels in this universe. So fun times all around!

I don't really have that much in terms of the others.

Amascut Bintre Al-Kharidi?
Saareh Bintre Al-Kharidi?
Sabakuno Akane?
But I don't have any AU week plans beyond that. I don't even (consciously) keep track of when AU week happens so now I am annoyed at the tiny quiet part of my brain that apparently does.

Somehow this translated in my head as Spy Kids and now I am chuckling.

Imagine my face when canon retconned him to be the one I didn’t go for.

Just an idea, but how about Clone Wars AU where he’s a left over from the Seperatists?

That's been my stumbling block for crossover AUs: I know of other canons with armies of killer robots I could make use of, but I don't know any of those canons well enough to do justice to it. Star Wars is one, but I also thought of the Terminator universe, which I've never actually seen anything from.
